If you do not believe Ice cube, then keep on playing without them Los Angeles Dodgers. Trade them away and keep them off the team. And watch the teams with black baseball players, make it to the world series everytime.

  • Julian Jefferies

I hate to admit this, but ice cube is right. Unless the Los Angeles Dodgers get some black players on their team, they will never win a World Series.

As a dodger fan I'm glad to see Another National League team other than the dodgers lose this year in the world series. Everyone one is joking about how the dodgers can't get the job done in the world series and I guarantee The Nationals this year won't get it done either. All these Nats fans are cocky like the 2017 dodgers it's just a cycle.

ROOKIE EDITOR: This is the worst of editing I've seen in these condensed games. Is the end of a play, even a HR not worth showing??? There is such a thing as pace of game, even in highlights. You don't switch from a catch (barely shown), in a nanosecond to the next batter. Watch the other excerpts videos and LEARN SOMETHING.

  • TheSimpsonsSeeker1998 is back

Because of the Dodgers’ failures without winning a World Series after 1988, which is the last year the Dodgers won the World Series, I believe the Dodger Stadium will change its name to Sandy Koufax Memorial Park in honor to the same person who won the 1965 World Series with the Dodgers and the Dodgers fire Roberts from the position as their coach for the 2020 season and replacing Dave Roberts as a coach with either one of the people who won the 1981 or the 1988 World Series with the Dodgers for the Dodgers. This is how my prediction looks like for the 2020 Los Angeles Dodgers to see if the Dodgers win the 2020 World Series or else the Los Angeles Dodgers will continue in the midst of a deep crisis they currently have since after the Los Angeles Dodgers won the 1988 World Series.

Everybody is quick to blame Kershaw for allowing the two home runs, but it's not entirely his fault. The manager is at fault for putting him in to pitch in the 8th inning. Even then, Kershaw only allowed two runs that tied the game. Where is the blame for the rest of the team that couldn't UN-TIE the game in the 8th and 9th innings. Where is the blame for the pitcher that got himself into a bases loaded situation and then allowed a grand slam? It started with the manager and Kershaw, but the Dodgers had other chances after that to win the game but they didn't.

I think the two games played this day beg the question of which kind of loss is the worst in an elimination game: one where you give up 10 runs in the first and are basically know your season is over like 15 minutes into the game and still have to play eight innings, or one where you are on the cusp of a series victory in the waning innings and have it snatched from you just outs away? I'm not sure.

  • James Zhang

It takes a longer routine for a starter to get ready as he has more types of pitches to tuneup. When the hitters are already warmed up with Buellers' 97mph fastballs and wicked curves, it is just not a fair contest to let Kershaw enters the game in 8th inning to face these hitters. In this scenario, you can only use relievers with equal or better fastballs(with different movements) like May's or wicked secondary pitches like Maeda's slider and Kelly's curve, or Kolarek's sinker. Anyway, Kershaw should not be inserted into this late game scenario anyway. Also, LA's hitters are like only having one approach, trying to use any chance to hit a home run, that is apparently being taken advantage of by the smart Nationals' pitchers, and also wasted Bellinger's two steals with no out. Why could they just advance the runner and then hit/bunt one sacrafice, which is so much easier than a homer. Obviously LA's coaching staff/the managers have not prepared the games well enough. Roberts just let the players be themselves and gave up the most valuable fundamentals of baseball. Poor management, period.

I don't watch a lot of Dodger games, but I am so impressed with their fielding/defense. The infield made some simply beautiful to watch plays - the 3rd baseman charging the ground balls with such certainty and intensity and just the entire infield playing such heads up ball. The LF #17 made a great backward diving catch to prevent an almost certain double. Even though they lost in the end, they really did play a beautiful to watch game.
