    I tried it several times during ramadan. It doesn't taste sweet though. I don't want to offend anyone but it doesn't have any taste in it. I taste only like rice and coconut. No sugar.🤷‍♂️

    Assalammualaikum. Saya asal orang Perak. Rendang Tok memang asal Perak. Saya buat pes rendang tok untuk jualan. Mertua n keluarga sebelahnya di Kedah memang x pernah rasa rendang tok sebelum anaknya kahwin dengan saya orang perak. Adik saya pernah jual pes rendang tok buatan saya kepada pekerja Indonesia untuk dibawa pulang ke Indonesia sebab rasanya sedap n berbeza dengan rendang biasa. Dalam keluarga saya, hanya saya yg mahir memasaknya... bukan nak bangga diri. Ramai yg cuba masak tapi x berapa menjadi. Saya x pernah kedekut ilmu. Saya ajar dgn ikhlas n percuma spy resepi ini dimasak berterusan sebagai resepi rendang tok dari Perak. Kebiasaannya kenduri kahwin di Perak akan dijamukan dgn rdg tok.

      Kalau saya, 500 ml air, 140 gr gula( manis boleh ikut suka), 250 ml santan, 1 setengah bungkus agar-agar, kalau tak ada tepung jagung, pake tepung ubi kayu pun boleh lagi sedap(1 1/2 tbs)dan 1 sudu kecil garam, yang ini untuk cendol 500 ml air, gula Melaka sekitar 150 atau 200 gr, rasa manis boleh ikut suka hati, 210 ml santan, 1 helai daun pandan, 1 sudu kecil garam, 1 bungkus agar-agar..... Selamat mencoba 😊

    The Indonesian version is as dry as can be with almost only oil keeping the meat moist. The Malaysian version is saucy, with some thickened sauce covering the meat. Am I right?

    You sliced the raw squid on wooden board and without washing or using another board you sliced the torch ginger flower to garnish the cooked food. Thats cross contamination of food and can cause food poisoning!!!
