Hell Luke! That was a bushcraft stove? I'd seriously only consider that thing for car camping, not hiking that thing into the back country.

I hated pollen season in Mississippi. Keeping a car clean is impossible. My wife had bad allergies to pine pollen so her sinuses were terrible, but mine didn't bother me. The new thing with me is I'm going to be a dad in November!

Getting hot down here in West central Florida! Have recently had a "duh" moment! Instead of a fly on the tent. Use a small light tarp, hanging over it! Similar to a hammock. If it's not monsoon rain as most times down here, tarp keeps the dew off and opens the tent to excellent breeze!

I'd say we are both getting the shaft because I'm a TVclip Red subscriber. In exchange for no ads on my viewing I expect a portion of my monthly subscription to go to the channels I support. If they take away your monetization then my money is going to channels I DON"T support, not the ones I do.

Started making my bushcraft camp on my families property on the mountain last weekend finally. I settled on a spot next to a tiny natural pond that is near the top of the mountain, mostly for the easy access to a water source. Still a lot of work to do but it feels good to be able to get out there without having to slog through snow!

    Afternoon, Luke...
Afraid I'm still struggling w/ these vision problems.
Had an emergency eye surgery, last week. That makes two major eye surgeries in 3 weeks.
Only have this one eye now, and very little vision.
Still doing my recovery, whereby I have to be face down, 50 % of the time, and almost no activity. Bummer, but watching T.O.G.R. has certainly helped me keep on track.
    Thanks, Brother...

I got a Sena bluetooth com System for my motorcycles so that I can speak with buddies while riding. It is a very cool experience to finally understand each other.
Also I finally got the famous „Panzerplatten“. Those are some biscuits that are issued to the soldiers here in Germany as Snacks and quick an easy carbs. Great for extra Energy when you are outside hiking or doing other outdoor activities.

    Hey Luke and Family,
I’m a Canadian who loves the outdoors. I worked in my provincial park system and have always wanted to do more back country camping. I started looking on TVclip for ideas and inspiration and stumbled upon your channel. So great to have a southern neighbour such as yourself showing all of us the ropes.
Well, I started buying equipment and watching your videos. I just watched your ALPS Lynx 1 intro and having just bought the 2 person, I’m very interested in seeing it as your progress with the review.
One piece of gear I bought that I’d like to see you try when you have time is the Mardingtop 60+ L pack. I’m not sure if you have (I’ve looked), either way, it’s got a rain fly, YKK zipper and an internal frame. I’m going on my first trip in a couple weeks, so far I like it but, it would be great to see you take a gander!

The reason why there are no argumentative or negative comments is because of you and Susan. You do not tolerate it or say anything that would make one feel defensive to spark negative commentary. Thank you for the honest and helpful reviews and the fun to watch adventures.

It would be a cool idea to invite some your Patrons (limited number) for a bushcraft weekend on Lone Wolf Mountain. You could even make it a “share your best camp tricks or gear” weekend.

Ok, you asked to hear about my new adventure, here we go... Back in January My four year old grandson and I had a "boys day out" and went to the Alamance County Children's Museum in Graham, NC. They had an interactive display called "listen to your heart" That was the beginning of my adventure! I am a respiratory therapist, so with my medical backround...I knew too much to ignore what I saw!
This will explain it better: tvclip.biz/video/pg0fnX3P6GU/video.html .
I am going for my third attempt at cardioversion tomarrow may 8 at 06:00 Let's hope the third times the charm! Campfire coffee along with sweet tea may just become a thing of the past! As one youngster said to a congregation as her dad was carrying her out over his shoulder to administer some dicipline ...Y'all pray fer me!

Hey, Luke, continue doing what you're doing man. Regarding the outdoor vital jacket, one of my colleagues brought and I get to try it out. I agree with almost everything you said except for the loose filling coming out. At least I did not notice any. I am usually a medium and the jacket that I tried on was a large. Even after sizing up, the jacket was too tight around the shoulder/arm-pit and loose around the waist. The sleeves were short like you said. I am pretty picky about my jacket and the text of the filling feel a lot like Microlite micro, which also have issues with filling coming out.

Great video as always Luke. there are many firearms channels out there, in my opinion not enough, the public in general needs more education on firearms because these times the media and many politicians have done their job to demonize them and those who likes them. Google and facebook are clearly run by folks who lean towards the demonization of firearms instead of the education part and seeing a video of a firearm used to destroy anything I guess you hit it in the nail to some executive, lol. The video was a lot of fun and those of us who understand firearms had a blast watching it, those who do not like firearms or are afraid of anything resembling it are clearly not going to like it and that is that. You keep them coming and do not worry about those who are impossible to educate about something; haters and complainers will be everywhere anyways, even if you had used a machete or a knife to tear that backpack to pieces it would not appeal to someone somewhere so if you do not like it, destroy it and put in a video that I guarantee you I will watch it and will enjoy it!

I was supposed to be backpacking in to Charles Deam Wilderness area in Indiana to camp next to Lake Monroe, but we've had a boatload of rain. The trails are also horse trails so it's shaped like a shallow half pipe, and the park ranger said it's pretty sloppy. We had 5.5 mi to hike in and with trails that bad (one of the other trails there had a section wiped out by a mudslide) my buddy and I are postponing until later. Bummer.
Speaking of that, there's a guy on TVclip that calls his channel Hoobilly Indiana (his name's Mark) that would, I believe, be a good guest sometime in the future. He's very positive and tries to help promote getting out and highlighting the different wilderness/hiking/camping areas in central and southern Indiana. He has FB and IG as well. Give him a look, please. His channel isn't that big but the trekking areas in IN are rather limited compared to NC, and that limits the amount of "local" interest in the activity, sadly. He has decades of experience on the trails and in the woods.
I very much enjoy your videos, comments and reviews. Keep up the good work, sir.

With your positive and forthright attitude you would be the ideal person to go into politics, to actually represent the needs and ideas of those that would elect you. Unfortunately, it would be a futile and unreasonable task to ask or expect you to do so. Honest assessments of situations, people and what-not are not conducive to being a successful politician. A successful "Statesman" most definitely, but not a politician in this day and age. It is not hard to see, just look around at the political circus we have here in NC.
