We played this game all the time! My favourites were the Hot Dog and the Bobsled.
Great memories 😁
FireWaggle Waggle Waggle Waggle Waggle Waggle Waggle Waggle Waggle...
Used to love the biathlon, if I'd wrecked my time by missing a load of shots I'd just stop on the scene with the stream and look at it for a while, completely tranquil, then I realised the sound is just white noise.
The ice skating is masterpiece.
Sometimes I adore the pixel graphics of older games more than the polished high quality graphics of todays games.
Bobsled course is much shorter than I remember. That was physically demanding on the joystick and felt longer than 22 seconds.
I never really figured out how to get a good score in the figure and free skate. I could do all the moves and stick the landings without falling but I never knew what made one routine a 3.2 and another a 5.8.
Oh man, my brother and I would play this game for hours, this really brings me back. I remember every sound effect.Used to love the hotdog and the bobsled.

The best movie ever:-)
Long live commodore 64
Hello, someone can you tell me the name of the video game for commodore 64, where you used a toy car, I think white, and you had to save a female car? There was the possibility to literally build the picture of your choice, putting stairs, bridges, etc. But I do not completely remember the name. Thanks to anyone who answers me
I remember how much I loved the music for the figure skating
hey guys!! remember caveman ugh a lympics? remember whenever caveman ugh a lympics?!?!?
Canadian anthem never sounded so good
Such a beautiful time before the Berlin Wall came down. ;)
Great game i love the commodore 64
I still hope one day to visit the beautiful and cultured nation of Epyx.
@John Foltz I did visit West Germany
as well as the USSR & West Germany
Still can figure out how they made such a sophisticated game with less memory than an average jpg image.
yup, memory overlays
flashkraft magic 😁
Canadian anthem was the best in all Epyx games.
When imagine mattered take me back
Pretty impressive graphics and animation for the time. :-) Never could figure out how to do anything without the manual in this game though, lol!
I played it so many times. Good old times. Thank for post.
Omg, i remember that i killed a lot of joysticks on the c64...
Jajaajajajaj me too !!!!!!!!!
2018 PjongChang -85 days!!
There's a fun glitch in this game where during the Figure Skating event, if you crash/kneel immediately and constantly, you'll get a perfect score.. possibly due to the permanent damage on the crushed knee bones or a negative 1 yields a score-wrap? You be the judge.
En ois ikinä uskonut näkeväni näitä enään huhhuh!
In the 80ties i had so lots of fun with tis Machine. C64 i will love every time. The first Computer where i have learned to programm with. :)
One of my very first games on C64.Snif.(cry cry)
this game was great when you had a few people playing it
The games which this software is based on were the first Olympics I recall seeing, even if they weren't the first while I was alive.
I love the music from the hot dog event
C64 scheiss Grphik ABER es ist und bleibt wohl die BESTE Zeit in meinem Leben.
This game was one of my favorites on this system. It was so much fun and I sure miss these games. that music on the ski jump was epic
I got this game and its very hard to play but also very fun.
Sounds like farts in the hot dog section
Play tha "free Skating" part at 1.25-speed & tell me the accompaniment don't sound like a machination for a rock-guitar chorus!
Next event: Hog Dogs!
great memories 😊
when ussr was still a country
Thanks for the great memories! The static that substituted for sounds and music is phenomenal ;)
He is playing Biathlon like I did. Full steam ahead! :DThough he can't play Ski Jump worth a damn. Just once he scored over 200 points. However, I couldn't get the hang of 10 points in Hot Dog, so he got me beat there. ;)Wonderful video! Keep it up. :)
played winter game a lot
One Word "AWESOME"
LOL, what went wrong with the names? My brother and I played this very often! I have nice memories of this game, they all come to live again. Thanks for sharing!
MAN! My friends and I would have competitions on this game for hours.
it was worth that half hour loading in those games
so anyone knows how to get good points at figure skating?my is once got 8 points with falling on her ass in the rythm, but still dont know how it actually works xD
You need to do 7 specific moves without stumbling or falling. This is detailed in the manual www.c64sets.com/details.html?id=1107 , but who had manuals for C64 games? :)
winter games, international karate and commando on datasette!!!!Press play on tape :)
Hot dog aereals :u
Ah, Biathlon. In the end I (almost) always got 20/20 hits. My skiing sucked, though, so you bot owned me here.
you could do the shots in about 4 seconds with reloading and shooting the moment the cursor appeared
I still have my C64 and play this game everyday, Bitches.
They sure knew how to make games that made us buy joysticks every other month. Winter and summer games, skate and ski or die, Dragon's lair ect. ect. ect. They were joystick killers.
Hehe never track and field?
I went through a lot of them. I had one that used to click on the directional control and it nearly drove my mother crazy.
I was about to say that I would break the controller all the time at least it kept my arms working out LOL
goooooooooooooooooooooooooooood i loved this game(s)! ^^
Loading each event off tape - 'nuff said!
He, well I did graduate to 1541 later but when this came out I was still tape-bound, like twenty of us used to cram into a mate's living room to play. Yeah, things have come on a bit, my c64 games collection would fit 1000 times over on my phone now.
@Ignacio Suárez Tapes were big up till 1983, and then floppies began to become mainstream sometime in 1984 as they were becoming more affordable. We think technology is big now, but I cannot imagine where technology will take us in another 30 years, just mind boggling. 30 years seems like a long time, but its not.
tape peasant? floppies were the shit... man how I loved this game.
Lol at 9:36. I hated when that happens!!!!
The rythm of the music playing at 14:41 reminds me of giana sisters.
Yep! The underground levels.
i love those anthems at the start,
