The political parties simply placed the American press up for sale. That and the air wave media. Thank W.J. Clinton for that.

There was a time when journalists worried about getting the story right, not about readership or poll numbers.

You couldnt pay me to watch this movie, as if I dont know what its REALLY about, and the leftist actors that play the parts, Im sick and tired of em....sick and tired of "60 Minutes" too, just more evidence that journalism really is dead...why would you take on OPRAH? That interview so biased, just as biased as your picks to be interviewed. SMH Im looking forward to see the bit on prisons, solitary confinement etc, but sick of the leftist politics, the biased leftist opinions etc which seems to own "60 Minutes"

that movie covers the watergate affair. pentagon papers happened before that, but are largely what prompted president richard nixon into paranoia over press leaks in his administration...thus leading to the totally unnecessary watergate break-in.
george mcgovern would have never won in '72.
      jeeze, what was he thinking?

I quit watching after they showed their true colors and 'Sold out' to Big Tobacco.
