This is exactly why impeachment is not the solution. I don't doubt for a minute Trump solicited dirt on Biden, in order to discredit him during the 2020 election; as he did with Killary thanks to Russia. This has done nothing but divide America, the only way to fix this is for Trump to run in 2020 and let the people choose their future president.

When the Dems so called witnesses have to admit they’ve never met or talked to trump. They never knew why money was withheld ( to make sure new president not as corrupt as ousted) and money wasn’t going to disappear like the 7 billion under Obama admin. did without a trac (yours and our tax money), and every witness witness to their personal opinions and assumptions. No facts no proof. No meeting no investigations no anything dms try to say Trump wanted done therefore no quid cause we go no pro and ukranines got their meeting AND money AND weapons. So what is it Trump did?

JDK K the reason it’s wrong is because Trump was extorting an ally by ordering the halt of congressionally authorised military aid to combat Russia for the personal favour of Zelinsky publicly announcing an investigation into his main political opponent. That is against FEC law and the emoluments clause - “the President cannot receive a thing of value from a foreign entity” - put into the constitution by the founding fathers to prevent the president profiting of the position, being opened up to blackmail, favouring countries for personal gain instead of national interest and if the thing of value is a political favour, influencing US elections. If the US DOJ sees probable cause, they are the ones to decide to investigate the conduct of a former Vice President, not a foreign country - and why would Trump want Ukrainian prosecutors going after an American citizen if he believes Ukraine is so corrupt? One of the reasons the judiciary is a separate branch of government from the execute branch is to keep government officials from abusing their power for revenge, influence etc.

Joe Biden’s son, Hunter, is mentioned in several probes relating to Burisma’s founder, the Ukrainian prosecutor has said, as leaked documents allege that he was part of a money-laundering scheme.
Ukrainian Prosecutor General Ruslan Ryaboshapka said that a long-running probe into Mykola Zlochevsky, the founder of Burisma natural gas company, has been expanded to include allegations of large-scale embezzlement of government funds. Hunter Biden sat on the firm’s board of directors.
The on-and-off investigation into alleged shady dealings at Burisma was galvanized in August, when Ryaboshapka ordered a review of criminal cases involving the company. Since the start of an ongoing impeachment inquiry into whether US President Donald Trump offered his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky a ‘quid pro quo’ of military aid in return for reopening an investigation into Biden, the case has become a critical part of US political discourse.

This is going to save a lot of money. We can eliminate all courts. As soon as someone pleads not guilty, we can just move to sentencing, as denying a crime is proof of guilt!
