      +Select Spine & Sports Medicine thank you so much i included my insurance # in my email to them so they can run it and see if I'm eligible but i know this is TMI but i never realized chronic constipation can also be because of you being unaligned i watched a video after yours of a woman with similar pain as mine and also has chronic constipation and her visits to her chiropractor have helped that completely so i never even associated my constipation problems to my back problems but that has also been since giving birth so the times match up, I'm sorry i know that's pretty gross and actually embarrassing since you're so good looking lmao but it's life I'm sure you see this problem often? have you also been able to help patients with this problem? after watching a bunch of videos last night i think all my other health problems have ALOT more to do with my lower back and hip problems then i realized like my chronic fatigue and anxiety could be because of the backed up toxins in my body which is all a domino effect from the back pain it started with that! but after watching lots of videos you guys are actually MIRACLE workers and WAAAYYYY underrated and appreciated! but you guys deff have my respect now more then ever!

      +Select Spine & Sports Medicine but does I'm in Boston not sure if mass health will pay for a chiropractor just based off your own pain i always thought you had to get hurt like in an accident or something but I'm deff going to look into it because it literally keeps me up at night everytime i lay down my right lower back feels like it's constantly being pinched and no matter how often i try to crack my own back which I'm sure I'm doing wrong by it don't help, I'm pretty sure it's a sciatic nerve by obviously not positive but never had it before the birth of my daughter 🤷‍♀️thank you so much for taking the time to respond to me you're awesome, and extremely handsome if i might add 🤗

    I have little bone fractures in my hip from playing soccer and my orthopedic said it was from overusing it so I have hip pain I went to a chiropractor and they never popped my hip like that would’ve that changed anything ???

      +Select Spine & Sports Medicine you are 100% right you need all that to stay healthy but from my experience crossfit has a higher risk level of Injury then any workout out there because form is key to stay safe and healthy there was no Disrespect toward you and what you do you seem like a great Chiropractor base off what I've seen in you videos it was just an Opinion of mind

    God I wish someone would do this for me. I work 12 hour shifts manual labor. My knees hurt. My wrist and fingers. I have arthritis in my joints and spine. My back hurts especially at the bottom and between my shoulder blades. My shoulder sockets hurt. My hips pop out of nowhere sometimes and that hurts like hell. I click and crack constantly every move I make. I put my hands on my hips and press in and both my shoulders pop in the socket loudly. I am desperate for relief. I have taken Ibuprofen and BC powders until my blood is acid. I'm only 30. This is a damn shame.

    Just go out and trail run for at least 40 to 45 mins [min]. You'll get a complete body work out and cardio with less to no pain, if you run properly. Crossfit will almost guarantee you pain and injury even if done "correctly."

    Hey doc what is the purpose of taping? Why is the tape you used different from any other tape (like duct tape)?? I went to a chiropractor today and left feeling the exact same. My rib is still displaced, and shoulder still feel jacked and my pelvis is still popping. Should I try a different chiropractor or should I go to someone else..? What do I dooo..     I’ve had that shoulder adjustment done but while i was laying down and it’s the greatest feeling I’ve had shoulder issues in both so when my chiro did that i felt like a new person

      +Select Spine & Sports MedicineNot mad, but I do dislike the amount of disinformation and straight up predation on people with issues who are desperate for help. Being in pain makes you willing to do almost anything to get it to stop, which makes such patients easy targets for all sorts of "miracle" cures. Anything from healing, meditation, oriental ointments made from questionable ingredients to things people believe are more evidence based like homeopathy or yes, chiropractic/spinal manipulations.
      As it stands, research on spinal manipulation concludes that it _may_ (meaning that there are indications, but they are inconclusive or are based on to small a data set to give a certain indication) provide temporary pain relief for some specific back pains and that this relief _may_ be beyond what expectations and placebo would provide. In everyday terms, it's about as effective as something between a sugar pill and a tablet of Ibuprofen. This is at best what research can come up with. You may argue that there are "alternative research" or that you or someone else knows by experience there is more, but that is at best anecdotal and places you right back among faith healers and shamans.
      The reasons people actually sometimes feel better from this kinds of treatment is that unlike overworked physicians who have on average 7 minutes to spend with a patient, you often take your time to listen to the patient, reassure them and invoke a sense of faith in your methods, which, combined with placebo effects gives significant opportunity for positive effects. It's very much like homeopathy, where the actual treatment is only water (plus sugar, fillers, binders and whatever else makes up the pills) and still, many experience positive effects.
      I don't even have a problem with it. if it helps it helps, which is why I didn't in my original post claim it's all bogus, just reacted to the claim that the manipulations actually fixed something; if your clinic, as you say do provide physical therapy and preemptive advice it's excellent, what I have objections with is claims that a treatment has effects that it evidently doesn't. And even if you are a "good guy" your profession is stigmatized by the countless others who are not. Where I live, actual chiropractors are almost non-existent, instead other physical health professionals have integrated some manipulations that may have pain relieving effects into their treatment package.
      The fact that spinal manipulation doesn't have treatment potential shouldn't even make them fall out of use. Massage therapy similarly have no treatment capacity, but provides temporary pain relief, relaxation, attention and physical contact, all things beneficial to human health, and thus it is a widely appreciated therapy. Many people appreciate manipulations and how it makes them feel, and it provides much the same benefits as massage thus it would have a place even admitting that they can't cure either disease nor injury.

      Yea, especially when there are plenty of studies that indicate hard cardio makes you less able to build strength, meaning you should optimally separate cardio and strength workouts as far as possible. More to the point of the video, I live how the guy who does the adjustments seems to indicate that he ”fixed her up” and that there would be some rehab afferwards as an add on. Reality is the manipulation may relieve the pain, but it’s the physical therapy that may fix any issue.
      It sure is appealing to think you are in pain because something is misaligned and that someone can just snap things back in place and it’s all done, it fits perfectly into our mentality of efficiency and instant gratification, just as trying to be efficient by combining lifting with cardio and gymnastics, but reality is, some things takes time, healing from injury is among them, which is why it’s always smarter to take the time to do things right to avoid getting injured in the first place. Because in reality, there is no such thing as a Chiropractor fixing things by popping your bones back in place.

    So the girl holding the camera is one of the PTs there? Plus, does your clinic also do Occupational Therapy as well? I’m currently applying to OT schools so I am wondering if it is common for Sports medicine clinics to have OTs.
