The biggest problem with this monologue Stephen is that everybody who pays attention already knows that the VIPs (retired Veteran Intelligence Professionals) as documented in July 2017 at, in their thoroughly vetted Forensic Analysis of the leaks (not hacks), already DEBUNKED Russian involvement. Are we just supposed to somehow UNREAD or FORGET their brilliant analysis so as to somehow see this monologue as "funny"? 'Cause, right now, you just sound pathetic, completely out of touch (or willfully ignorant) and/or thoroughly IN BED with the deep state. Which is it? So sad!

I've posted this on other similar videos, not because I am spamming, but because I want to reach a larger pool of people and I think my point/question is valid and I'm sincerely wanting as large a variety of responses as possible. In response to people who troll Yahoo! articles and late night comedian videos... Really, it's a phenomenon that is quite one-sided in terms of sheer quantity. I posed the following question, prefaced as such: I do not subscribe fully to a conservative or liberal doctrine, but rather find myself somewhere in the middle, leaning from one end of the spectrum to the other based on the issue at hand. That stated: Is sewing discord and creating/perpetuating social/political discord and resentment a necessary element of (at least 50%) of America's daily diet? "Trolls" in other words. (And now for an excruciating run-on sentence...) Elaborating... do you think that Yahoo!, Colbert, Seth Meyers, SNL, John Oliver, Samantha Bee and their ilk would generate the ad revenue they do, and thus sustains/justifies their very existence - at the very least meeting minimum financial burdens to potentially (on the opposite end of the spectrum) actually exceed market expectations and becoming lucrative in the process, largely as a result of said "trolls"? Especially apparent on message boards where the claim is a "liberal/left-leaning bias", or "anti-Trump" agendas, sites like Yahoo! and the commentators on videos such as the one we're on now; I consistently see half the audience and responses from those who claim to hate Yahoo!, it's staff, journalists, editors, or the late night comedians. People who it appears visit this sites/videos solely for the intent of vehemently disagreeing, here only to bash and hate. Back to my question... would the "left" leaning, "liberal biased" media find their myriad of means for distributing their rhetoric and thus limit their audience, if you people simply stopped coming here/there/any and everywhere that apparently embodies everything that you hate about America? Are you not feeding the beast, not only bread and water, but filet mignon paired with a fine merlot? Sure, you may not starve the liberal agenda, but you'd certainly limit their palette and thus potentially cripple their menu. To finish the analogy, if you stripped away the ad revenue from your clicks/views and engagement, you would limit the amount of dishes (content) and close down some of the locations (having only 1 McDonalds in your town instead of 3). And this alllll goes back to what my initial query was. Is it a necessary evil for you people to have something you hate? Are you politically masochistic and so needy that you can't help but become part of your very own problem? Do you NEED to have something to hate in order to be fulfilled? Just curious!

Small government doesn't help people, and the only viable small government option gets real big when it comes to social freedoms. I'm happy to pay higher taxes if it means more people have a chance of a good life. Even from a selfish standpoint, I could use universal health care, better infrastructure and more. I hope you'll vote for anyone but Trump. Like literally anyone else.

Nope, he got us out of a recession, increased jobs, decrease unemployment and so on. The guy was far from perfect, but overall he did a damn good job. Like I said before, you can't put the debt entirely on Obama. Congress are the ones who create and pass spending bills, and most of Obama's terms had a Republican controlled congress. He also had to deal with poor economic policies in place that he inherited from Bush, who you admit was awful. In addition, cutting spending during a recession is a recipe for disaster. I know it's convenient to blame Obama for all our problems, but that's not really how this works.

    • Bruce Shepherd
      Bruce Shepherd 25 days ago

JamesHLanier - wake up Alice your in wonderland, we had 8years of Barack Obama's economy and it almost ruined the nation ! 10 trillion dollars to the national debt is more than all the presidents combined before him ! Yeah, definitely. I never liked Hillary, but anything is better than what we have now. To answer your last question, yes. I don't think Dems like Hillary will do much to help, but those who lean further left will be more likely to actually balance the budget. Both sides have sold out to corporate interests though, so it's hard to say for sure.

This is beyond scary! We have a political faction that is willing and prepared to destroy the Constitution and rewrite the American ideals of Democracy to support their private agenda.
Donald Trump, Devin Nunez, Erik Prince, and many, many others will be proven to be traitors to America. These people have sold out America for their own financial and political gain.
Donald Trump would love to be able to use the DOJ and the courts to attack his political opponents, the media and/or anyone else who doesn't support his agenda of taking over the American government. There are many who would argue that statement is far fetched and implausible. To that I say, WAKE UP! Erik Prince has floated the idea of creating a private military funded by the government. Donald Trump also remarked once that he should have a private militia that reports directly to him with no oversight from Congress or the American people. Donald Trump commented on the campaign trail that Americans will love him so much that there will be no need for further elections. Donald Trump made positive comments about President Xi Jinping making himself President for life. The comment made by Donald Trump was, and I am paraphrasing, we may have to try that!
Donald Trump is very, very dangerous to the continuation of our Constitution, our freedoms and our democracy! When the people who support Donald Trump finally realize that he has lied to them and completely manipulated them to take control of America by destroying all of the protections built into the Constitution there will be a second civil war but it may be too late by then.
If the people of America don't wake up and realize that America is in danger of becoming another Russia, North Korea, Turkey or China we may lose everything we believe in as Americans! It is not normal for the President of the United States to attack the DOJ, the FBI, the media and anyone and everyone he decides stands in his way of becoming a dictator! It is not normal for Congress to stand by and do nothing while our democratic principles are being attacked. These times are not normal and we can stand up for what we believe in and fight with our words now or do nothing until the only recourse to a civil war, Which would you prefer?
“If the facts are against you, argue the law. If the law is against you, argue the facts. If the law and the facts are against you, pound the table and yell like hell”
    ― Carl Sandburg

Doesn't this quote by Carl Sandburg sound like Rudy Giuliani, Donald Trump, Michael Cohen, Devin Nunez and so many more who refuse to truthfully discuss the facts and instead try to create a distraction by pounding the table and yelling like hell!
Edmund Burke once said: “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men should do nothing.”
America is experiencing the triumph of evil!
America needs the Michael Avenattis of the world who have the courage to stand up for America because our members of Congress have failed to protect America from EVIL!
