The Game That Made Marshawn Lynch Famous

  • Published on May 14, 2018
  • On January 8th, 2011, Marshawn Lynch exploded against the Saints with his "Beast-Quake" run. This run singlehandedly showed Lynch's dominance in the league and established his power and rushing ability.

What's with Marshawn Lynch's obsession with grabbing his penis when he scored a touchdown? What intelligent, civilized human does that?

    TheZXKUQYB 2 months ago

Bummer at 5:10 mark you cut out the 'ah!' sound that Mayock made due to over excitement at watching this epic run. At 5:03 the stiff arm you can tell Mayock became a fan of the run vs just being a color commentator. This will always be the greatest run in NFL history.

You should've cut this down to just the beastquake and titled it, "The Play That Made Marshawn Lynch Famous." Lynch didn't have a breakout game in this one, he just had one good play.

All 12's must rise to protect Marshawn Lynch and the "Beast Mode" moniker. Television station TNT is trying to hijack the "Beast Mode" moniker for some new show unrelated to Mr. Lynch. It may be 2018, but "Beat Mode" lives on forever with Marshawn Lynch and the Seattle Seahawks.

As a Seahawks lifer, This makes me smile every time I see it! The defending Superbowl champions, favored by 11 points get beat down by the underdog Seahawks under 1st year coach Pete Carol and get run over by a RB no one wanted anymore, who a lot of people said was a bust... A BUST! This is a game I will never forget watching. Me and my brothers were just hoping that Seattle could just not be totally embarrassed by Drew Breeze and the Saints. Then that RUN! That epic, everyone up out of their chairs run, the Beastquake… Priceless.
Thank you Marshaun Lynch for years of great runs. Every game, he might not be having a great day but every game he would have at least one run that got everyone excited. Usually over ten yards and a couple broken tackles, that energized the whole team & the fans. And he doesn't get nearly enough credit for how elusive he is. One year (I think it was his last healthy year in SEA) he led the league in missed tackles (forced) with like 87. The second place RB, the next most elusive guy in the NFL only had like 60ish, & third and fourth were in the 40-50 range. So Lynch, known for running people over, was also the shiftiest/most elusive RB in football! Crazy. P

Damn, that reporter at the end sounded Dumb AF. "All year long the mantra has been, the defending champs are coming to town...Right?" How would they know they were going to play the Defending Champs before the year? Then Carroll says We kind of expected to win...And she goes "Really?" (with a disbelieving look). No they figured they would lose, like all coaches try to communicate to their team...TF

Then a trip to the superbowl,,,and the rout was on,,,there's a first time for everything and even If there are no more,,,( unless the players come back home to be coaches),,,uwont has to pay them as a much,we are and will be a force to be reckoned with unless the i-bug gets us,,peace,,,,I'm out,,

Matt Hasselbeck doesn't get enough credit for this win I feel sometimes. Dude's got a cast and he's leading a 7-9 team against the defending world champs in the postseason. This was one of those ultimate send off games for a player playing the last game for their most noted franchise. Guy did a lot of good things for that town, took a beating when the team fell apart, and helped make history. Will always appreciate him for his efforts.
