These “government” agencies have been left unchecked and given too much power. This is bullshit. I have never posted a TVclip video and will not be effected by this ruling. Parents are responsible for their children. These types of changes will ruin TVclip and the internet.
Besides, the FTC will fine a TVclip once children watch their video while the parents are drinking and cussing 5 feet from them. It’s not about protecting children, it’s about money.

Society should not be held responsible for incompetent parenting. Parents should always be responsible for their own children. That is why parental locks exist on devices & accounts.

this is a last gasp for television and a dieing media thats been marked obsolete by todays age. youtube is destroying cable which is a good thing. i dislike cable, something that i can't control annoys me. i haven't watched tv in 6 years, TVclip had always bedn a replacement for that. this seems like i would go much deeper. corporates are conspiring against you for the biggest slice of the pie. its disgusting. but something tells me
"coppa is A JOKE. lawsuits like these are expensive, opening a court case is expensive. but ON THIS SCALE?! the ftc does not have the funding to take us all in. there is just too many videos and the ftc has zero clue what there doing.

Who are we to tell kids what they can or can't watch? We ain't here to babysit kids on youtube. If they want to watch something, they will watch it. Plus kids can lie about their age. Also ANYONE can be stalked or targeted online. I am just a casual streamer of videogames. I am not monotized, I don't make money, nor do I want to. Will or could I be affected? No point in fining me, i got nothing to give. My content is not made for kids. I swear a lot and say inappropriate things. Plus it's not MY content, the videogames are not my property, I did not make them. I just stream them for other peoples entertainment and my own entertainment. These rules are so stupid beyond belief

The ny state attorney general is a huge part of this too. $34 million of the fine is going to NY state. So now we have to see who will get their hands on that money in the state with the most corrupt government ,from the top down, ever.

Can people with children show their homes, garden or hobbies on TVclip, a bike may be in the yard, a pink pillow may be on the sofa and using baby color yarn may be used to make a gift. Your child might say mommy while you are taping. The list go on.

What will the FTC and COPPA do to Facebook. That is a real dangerous site for children, all the school shooters logged onto Facebook. ISIS recruits on Facebook, Russian uses Facebook to lie and Trump loves Facebook because he can legally lie on Facebook.

The FTC hasn’t destroyed TVclip, Google has. Ever since Google purchased TVclip the channel has been on a slow downward spiral. If it wasn’t for Google illegally tracking kids and then selling that data there would not be a problem. But now that they have been caught they push the onus on content creators to make sure kids are safe because guess what, they are not going to stop tracking data to sell as they make a lot of money selling data. So everyone can piss and moan about the FTC but you ought to be pissing and moaning about TVclip, but you won’t because of the money you make from your content. People used to post videos because they wanted to share their likes, but now it’s a job for many and like everything else on the internet money has tainted it. F
