I didn’t care for that shampoo and conditioner. Felt it left a residue on my hair. I now use Seacret mud shampoo and conditioner. It’s hard to find a new favorite after stuff is discontinued, happened to me with Kenra blow dry line.

Try using Super Biotin for your hair also Angie.. I had 2 surgeries and because of that, I lost so much hair that my ponytail went from a nice thick ring of hair, went down to the thickness of a pencil!!. I remember being in the shower, brushing my hair with a lot of conditioner in it, so it wasn't tangled as much.. I was bawling my eyes out, because I would take the hair out of the brush and throw it in the middle of the floor and continue brushing it.. The pile was as tall as a coke can.. It was awful.. To fix this issue, I used Rogaine for women (for about 3 weeks or so) to stop my hair from falling out.. and added Puritan Prides super biotin (5000) twice a day.. My hair grew back so much that my hair dresser told me to stop taking the biotin! LOL Thank goodness my hair grew back (and even more so). Just letting you know. :)

Don't spend money, all this device for hair does is stimulates blood flow in your scull. The same results can be achieved by massaging (hard) your scull and pulling the hair in different directions. Try for couple weeks.

Hi, Angie! Thanks for the great video! QVC is selling HairMax Laserband 41 for $349. Do you think it's worth a try, or it's less effective due to 41 lasers vs 82?

  • bnb0510
    bnb0510 6 months ago

I wanted to try the hairmax but I keep reading so many bad reviews on it that it scares me. It’s a tsv on qvc today. I keep going back and forth. I tried rogaine as well and hated it.
Fyi you can use rogaine on your brows.

FYI - QVC is still offering the HairMax LaserBand 41 Comfortflex for $350 with easypay. I think it comparable to the laser band 82, but I’m not certain. It requires 3 minutes instead of 90 seconds each use. QVC is offering a 180 day warranty too. Sounds like a good deal even compared to the hairmax site.

Hi Angie and Happy New Year! I just wanted to tell you how much I love you and all the hard work you put into your vids...I felt compelled to express my gratitude. I recently tried your method of applying under-eye concealer and have to say was completely blown away. I haven't worn concealer for almost a decade as I found it definitely enhanced my crow's feet. I bought the products you recommended and applied them as you did and I can honestly say that my eyes looked way better with the concealer than without. I appreciate all the hard work you put into your videos and look forward to every one of them. One question I do have is regarding primer. I always wear sunscreen and was wondering if it's best to apply primer before or after sunscreen application. Thank you again and looking forward to spending another year with you!!! xoxo

The laser headband is quick and easy but the comb is same strength soooo much less ecpensive and I can concentrate on areas that the headband doesn't reach..I do it while watching TV....but it is only a piece of the hair thinning "cure"....I have been on a protocol for over 30 years with a master trichologist and Dr.Orentreich so it was a journey..and you have beautiful hair but somewomen really start to lose a lot..that takes a multi layered approach..happy you did not suffer sever hair loss.

      No problem.
No, I don’t use toners. I just wash the oil off with CeraVe foaming cleanser then moisturize my face while it’s still dripping wet.
Toners are not necessary at all. Just a waste of money.
There is a dermatologist with a TVclip channel who explains a ton about skin care; what we should and shouldn’t use. She and Angie have taught me a lot.
      Her channel is Dr Dray
Check her out. She’ll save you a lot of money while making your skin beautiful 😊

I’ve found what I think is a nice dupe for the Clinique take the day off balm. Ponds has come out with a new cold cream cleansing balm. I think it’s around ten dollars and they have some $2 coupons going around so that’s why I bought it. It melts my makeup right off. It has a light rose scent to it but that doesn’t bother me at all and I love anything rose scented. I wasn’t able to compare ingredients bc I had already thrown my Clinique one away. So I thought I’d let a few TVcliprs know about it bc I think it’s an affordable drug store dupe.

There are a few more affordable cleansing balms out there now - IT cosmetics, Yes To, Elemis, Clean it Zero, Body Shop. Would love to see a video comparing to Clinique and recommending a winner. I’ve been using a Clinique sample size and love it, but wouldn’t mind saving some bucks.

If a product is a game-changer I don't mind spending the money for it. That's why I bought the Colorescience Total Eye 3-in-1. But I just can't get past (passed?) my "It's just OK" opinion of it. I appreciate that it doesn't irritate my eyes and that it has SPF 35. I also appreciate the peachy tint but it isn't a game-changer. If it was $19 down at the drug store that might improve my opinion. But $69? Was I foolish to expect more? I guess when I run out I'll see how much I miss it. Happy New Year Angie! I think 2019 is going to be a good year!

I've been wanting to try the Colorscience 3-in-1 eye, but I just can't get past the price! Here in Canada, it costs $90.00!!!! AND it's only 7ml of product (half the size of an eye cream). It would have to be an absolute "game changer" for me to spend that kind of money, but I guess I'll never know if I don't try it! It's a shame that it's so expensive.

Angie, could you make a video just about eyeshadow brushes. I finally got a palette I love and I realize that I have a bunch of brushes I don't really know what they are and I don't really know how to use them. It would be so helpful to know which ones in a combination are my makeup brushes, which of the eye makeup brushes are used for what, can I use the same brush when I'm putting on different shades, is tapping them off in between sufficient, do I need to wash them in between each use? I just find the whole brush thing very confusing and a clarifying video of eyeshadow brushes would be very helpful. I love your tip about the holder for the mirror so you should include that in there too

I try your product recommendations often but I have to say I didn't like the Take the Day Off Balm, didn't do anything to take off mascara or makeup for that matter, have to wash face after washing face.
