  • What's considered the worst video game of all time? In this video I explain how that game helped crash a multibillion dollar industry and changed video games forever. It all comes down to supply and demand.
What's you favorite old school game? Let me know in the comments. Also, which of the three console producers do you prefer? I have a n Xbox1 but some say tha the PS4 is better? I I guess there is also the Nintendo switch now, too. Hmmmm. Thanks for watching.

I've been studying for my macroeconomics exam that's tomorrow all week, and my brain is exhausted. Watching this video reminds me that economics is more than just graphs, its applies to everything. This was a nice break from the usual economic videos, please make more like this!!

  • GerackSerack

Though I tend to despise neoclassical economics, your videos are pretty good. Keep them comming.
BTW, do you have a moment to talk about our lord and savior Ludwig von Mises?

    • GerackSerack
      GerackSerack 2 years ago +1

That would be awesome! I think economists should look to the past a bit more; there's barely no critique of the current acepted theories. We should be more aware that in the past, there were different theories, and in the future there will be too.
Economics is nos physics; rocks always fall the same way, but those pesky humans, with their free will, behave in quite erratic ways.

    • Jacob Clifford
Jacob Clifford  2 years ago +2

Thanks. I was thinking about making a whole series on dead economists. von Mises will be in there :)

Making 2 million more copies of ET than there were NES consoles was lunacy and taking only 6 weeks to make it was far too short even for the time.

Great video man, I started watching some of your videos when I was in Econ in university, but now that I'm out I don't really need the hard educational aspects of it. Diversify your audience by making more of these videos, they're interesting to the general public and can for sure up your viewer counts. I know I'll be coming back for episode 2!

I think it's worth including the VR market now. It's gotten a bit quite lately, but for a while that was all every gamer was talking about. Hopefully I can develop games for VR systems in the future, but we'll see.

I found you through your textbook economic videos...and your review packet and online guides helped me get an A in Econ :). Now my course is over but I now find I have a deep seated love and interest for economics, and it's changed how I look at the world....so yes more videos like this please :). I really enjoyed this one, and I would love to see what other topics you can bring economics into next!
