WW2 pilot, long history of public history and Desert Storm president with success yet most Americans didn't want him for a second term and bad mouth by the media, but instead elected a governor now so many have kind words for him....he can't hear you anymore and the media needs to live in their pitiful legacy.

College Station was a great idea: no one’s more ritualistic than A&M and the corps of cadets is already there. Though after hearing them play the Aggie fight song, part of me was expecting them to fire the game cannon too.

{Let not the free disposal (and affluence) of the disbelievers throughout the land deceive you. (196) A brief enjoyment; then, their ultimate abode is Hell; and worst indeed is that place for rest. } (3-197)
{ Verily, We have prepared for the disbelievers iron chains, iron collars, and a blazing Fire.} (76- 4)

{ Verily, those who disbelieved, and died while they were disbelievers, the (whole) earth full of gold will not be accepted from anyone of them even if they offered it as a ransom.[] For them is a painful torment and they will have no helpers. } (3-91)

{ As for those who disbelieve, lo! if all that is in the earth were theirs, and as much again therewith, to ransom them from the doom on the Day of Resurrection, it would not be accepted from them. Theirs will be a painful doom. (36) They will wish to come forth from the Fire, but they will not come forth from it. Theirs will be a lasting doom. (37) As for the thief, both male and female, cut off their hands. It is the reward of their own deeds, an exemplary punishment from Allah. Allah is Mighty, Wise. (38) But whoso repenteth after his wrongdoing and amendeth, Lo! Allah will relent toward him. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. }(5-39)
{ Verily, those who disbelieve, and die while they are disbelievers, it is they on whom is the Curse of Allâh and of the angels and of mankind, combined. (161) They will abide therein (under the curse in Hell), their punishment will neither be lightened, nor will they be reprieved.} (2-162)

{Allâh has promised the hypocrites - men and women - and the disbelievers, the Fire of Hell, therein shall they abide. It will suffice them. Allâh has cursed them and for them is the lasting torment.} (9-68)

{ Whosoever desires the life of the world and its glitter; to them We shall pay in full (the wages of) their deeds therein, and they will have no diminution therein. (15) They are those for whom there is nothing in the Hereafter but Fire; and vain are the deeds they did therein. And of no effect is that which they used to do} (11-16)
{ But those who disbelieve, (in the Oneness of Allâh - Islâmic Monotheism) for them will be the Fire of Hell. Neither will it have a complete killing effect on them so that they die, nor shall its torment be lightened for them. Thus do We requite every disbeliever! (36) Therein they will cry: "Our Lord! Bring us out, we shall do righteous good deeds, not (the evil deeds) that we used to do." (Allâh will reply): "Did We not give you lives long enough, so that whosoever would receive admonition, could receive it? And the warner came to you. So taste you (the evil of your deeds). For the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong¬doers) there is no helper." } (35-37)
{ And when they see you (O Muhammad SAW), they treat you only in mockery (saying):"Is this the one whom Allâh has sent as a Messenger? (41) "He would have nearly misled us from our âlihah (gods), had it not been that we were patient and constant in their worship!" And they will know when they see the torment, who it is that is most astray from the (Right) Path! (42) Have you (O Muhammad SAW) seen him who has taken as his ilâh (god) his own vain desire? Would you then be a Wakîl (a disposer of his affairs or a watcher) over him? (43) Or do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle; nay,- they are even farther astray from the Path. (i.e. even worst than cattle).} (25- 44)
{ And for those who disbelieve in their Lord (Allâh) is the torment of Hell, and worst indeed is that destination (6) When they are cast therein, they will hear the (terrible) drawing in of its breath as it blazes forth (7) It almost bursts up with fury. Every time a group is cast therein, its keeper will ask: "Did no warner come to you?" (8) They will say: "Yes indeed a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said: 'Allâh never sent down anything (of revelation), you are only in great error.'" (9) And they will say: "Had we but listened or used our intelligence, we would not have been among the dwellers of the blazing Fire!" (10) Then they will confess their sin. So, away with the dwellers of the blazing Fire (11) Verily, those who fear their Lord unseen (i.e. they do not see Him, nor His Punishment in the Hereafter), theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward (i.e. Paradise). (12) And whether you keep your talk secret or disclose it, verily, He is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men). (13) Should not He Who has created know? And He is the Most Kind and Courteous (to His slaves) All-Aware (of everything). } (67-14)

Throughout all of these events - the church service, this procession, etc. - it strikes me how profoundly affected George W. Bush appears. Being the youngest child of George H.W. (if I'm not mistaken) I suppose this isn't too surprising. Still, It's heartbreaking to see how losing his father affects him. He wears his heart on his sleeve. This personality trait caused him much criticism during his administration, but here it seems to be a grand thing. To openly feel for the legacy of one's father.
Edit: Oh Jesus, Global News. Running ads during a funeral procession? Such low class.
