NYC Planespotter Presents: “Spotting JFK Runway 31R, 4R Arrivals” ✈ (4K) No. 112

  • Published on Jan 23, 2019
  • Hello there plane spotters, jet heads, and aviation fans. I will be traveling to Incheon Korea and the Philippines in the next couple of days and hopefully will be able to spot from those neck of the woods. It will be very difficult and cumbersome to edit and upload projects during the trip because of the full itinerary, internet availability and being constantly on the road. Before I embark, I would like to present my recent edit. Hope you like my presentation.

Hi Iain, JFK traffic is unpredictable. There is no set location. At a moment's notice, a different runway will be used. For me, best locations are Five Towns and Bayswater. Also, I should also add that these are very distant shots requiring significant zoom focusing. The aim is be flexible and follow traffic. I tried using tripods and monopods but windy conditions made them difficult. Hope this helps.
