End of an era- last ESPN SNF game, last Maguirre/Theismann game, Larry Allen's final game with the Cowboys (last link to the SB dynasty)
All around the world Oasis lol
1:52:41 Those SNF memories from ESPN, they need to bring em back... NBC is way boring-er as I expected?
Mike Martz was fired the following day, a.k.a. "Black Monday", the Monday after the end of the regular season when many head coaches get fired.
That 4 by 3 screen is really crowded
I remember this game, the Cowboys lost out of the playoff spot by the Redskins so they were out of the playoffs and didn't have anything to play for and they went out and lost.
Bryan R. Love that dig at Joe Theismann by Mike Patrick
Why didn’t the NFL put both the Rams at Cowboys and Skins at Eagles in the late afternoon (4PM ET) window and flex in a more competitive game for SNF?oh... right... that didn’t exist until the next season
8:14 Minute mark lol.
Just another no name/ backup QBs that beats the cowboys and also first year / interim coaches that beat the Cowboys. Cowboys always making other guys famous
Well Dallas had just gotten eliminated before playing the game.
Jamie Martin?!? there have been many no name QB's but he was completely unknown to me..
Steve Veasey he had been a back up since 1999 or even earlier
This was the last game on the ESPN Sunday Night Football package.
@Alan Gamino overrated? I don't think I know one person who likes NFL on NBC since they made the switch. Old hag women country, pop, rockstars singing the introductions? Pass. But one thing I wish that they always did on ESPN was the flex schedule. But man even if it was an irrelevant game such as this one Cowboys versus Rams where both teams eliminated, NFL on ESPN would do anything that it could to make it sound like it was important.
NBC is overrated, ESPN is way better.
Do you have the Lions Cowboys game from January 6, 2002?
