"The iPhone (pron.: /ˈaɪfoʊn/ EYE-fohn) is a line of smartphones designed and marketed by Apple Inc. It runs Apple's iOS mobile operating system, known as the "iPhone OS" until mid-2010, shortly after the release of the iPad. The first iPhone was released on June 29, 2007;[14] the most recent iPhone, the sixth-generation iPhone 5, on September 21, 2012.[15] The user interface is built around the device's multi-touch screen, including a virtual keyboard. The iPhone has Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity (2G, 3G and 4G)." (Source: Wikipedia [en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IPhone])

People give Steve Jobs shit because he could be an asshole. Yeah, I guess he could. But dude had a damn vision. He fought for his vision. That's what you should do. He MADE this. He didn't make it himself, but he had the vision, the idea. Who needs a coder if he ain't got a vision? Steve Jobs said it perfectly. He played the orchestra.

This is why the iPhone was such a huge leap in innovation. Even though I’m watching this over 10 years since the launch, this presentation still feels like the future is being revealed right in front of me. Legendary

You know what I wish? I wish the old Nokia would come back strong with a true breakthrough phone and find a way to sell two billion of them for fifty dollars each. Give the thousand dollar iPhone X a solid kick in the teeth.
Nokia is far closer to Bill Gates' vision of putting a computer on every desktop, across the planet. Apple has always been for the top ten percent. Microsoft and Nokia for all their faults, wanted to put a computer on every desk and a cellphone in every pocket. From Tokyo to Toronto to Timbuktu, from Maine to Mexico to Madrid to Mumbai. They're like the Bernie Sanders and Andrew Yang of the tech industry. It was indeed a global tragedy when Nokia passed on mobile phone dominance to elitist Apple. Strong may Nokia return!

Ironic that I’m watching this 12 years later on my iphone, with the same wonderment that I felt back then! This was the genesis - the start of it all - amazing to think that this particular phone is now considered obsolete!!! iPhones now have bigger screens, are thinner and more powerful to a point now that I haven’t used my computer in years!

This is so legandary. I can watch this over and over again and I never gets boring. Steve Jobs was just an incredible and innovating person. Every time I watch this I appreciate my smartphone so much more, at least for a short time:)
