I'm surprised metal braces are still considered ok medical treatment. They use *CEMENT* to attach *METAL* to your teeth. Like 50, even 30 years ago I get, but in 2020?! Also Drs. uses to use "vibration therapy" 😏for um, "women's issues" Like "hysteria" or melancholy...I say bring that back!!

Back in the 70s I spent a week in the hospital. while I was there a friend brought me a carton of camel cigarettes I smoked everyone of them. today if you light up in a hospital, I’m afraid you’d go to jail or at least be thrown out on your ear.

Lobotomy answer - I'm surprised not one mention of the egyptian craze. Where the hell else would they get an idea like that?! Seriously - ONLY place where you see anyone shoving metal hooks up noses n eye sockets n crap 😂 Also I thought they still somewhat employed putting a hole in the skull - for a swelling brain where they cannot stop the swelling and by doing such saves the patients life? I'm not sure if there has been another method developed for that.
I'm not surprised you ended with the smoke up the butt 😂
Honestly even with medical science we need to remember that whenever you get treatment from a Doctor; (unless your doctor's sitting there doing a true individual diagnosis/treatment/care plan) THAT THEY WERE ONLY REQUIRED TO REMEMBER SOOOO MUCH AND YOUR GUESS IS DAMN NEAR AS GOOD AS THEIRS UNTIL THEY START CROSSING OUT ILLNESSES IN THEIR MEDICAL BOOK WHILE OBSERVING/SEEING, & LISTENING TO YOUR LIST OF SYMPTOMS.
So Doctors have got enough knowledge to not kill you with the basics (outside of your own allergies in the basics) HOWEVER today the only thing stopping them from coming up with their own is A MEDICAL GUIDE BOOK, A HANDFUL OF LAWS IF THEY WANT TO KEEP BEING A DOCTOR, AND YOUR CHOICES ON WHETHER OR NOT TO BLINDLY TRUST OR TO BE QUESTIONING THEM!
    Goodluck 😂

Trepanning is an ancient practice and is still done today in modern medicine. It’s primary function is to open a gap to give the brain a place to swell, which in the long term can actually save your life after a trauma or infection.

*watches beginning* Oh wait, that reminds me, I need to take my meth today...No, I'm serious.

This isn't a joke. No, I'm not admitting to taking illegal drugs nor am I an addict. I take medicine to treat my ADD and it's a LEGAL, controlled form of meth. So according to Matt, my doctors are "nuts" as they have prescribed it to me since I was eight. However, even though I'm now an adult, I still hate taking it and no, I don't get any high from it.
