Koreans usually wear concealer very subtly on imperfections UNDER foundation... not like a highlighter/cover as you do 🤦‍♀️

y’all are so pressed…this is one youtuber out of the dozens who cover kbeauty. Tati didn’t like the products and you were here for Tati’s opinion. Is it annoying that she may not have applied the makeup as intended? Sure. But you guys are so weirdly defensive about this makeup that I wouldn’t take advice from any of you.

As a Korean that obviously loves K-Beauty, I think it's completely fine for Tati to use Korean products in a western style. Let's face it, if K-beauty wants to expand globally (and it's quite obvious that it does), it's going to have to cater to a wider audience outside of Korea. Americans brands do great in Korea and no one's yelling at Koreans for using American makeup 'wrong'. I have friends that don't like using the puff that comes with cushion foundations because they have other sponges that they feel work better for them. I think Tati's reviews were honest and fair. She seems to basically really like a majority of the things, and I think Korean beauty should be able to work on expanding their products to more than just the stereotypical Korean natural look. Thanks for your review, Tati and I'm so glad you loved so many of the products! :)

I'm so sick of people talking about shade range of k-beauty. I'm glad that we r talking more about inclusivity of beauty
industry and there much more things that korean cosmetics brands to grow. but K of k-beauty stands for korean 😂 Korea used to be nation state till this very day(there were only 2.2% of multi-cultural student according to 2018 statistics). Koreans only needed 2 shades of foundation back in the days and that would be it. If u try to fit k-beauty products to ur standards, that's just being ignorant.
If the products designed for certain international market and have't got their shades, that's the time when u really should make ur voice. But most of the products in this video is marketed for korean, in korea. Most of the domestics brands r not even internationally launched.

also i think maybe koreans use less palettes because errr unlike western style makeup, korean likes a natural light look, so the work they put into eye makeup and the amounts and different colours isnt as much, like i swear like full on western makeup is like most percent of the routine is the eyes. :> so yup.

There are so much brand of cosmetics japan and korea and to be honest way before they discover highlighters etc lot of make up from korea and japan had those already, and they are not as that bad to your skin not like other brands here from America.Asians doesn’t really put so much make up some bc they mostly use shimmer and lip tint and lil blush...

I love those Peripera Ink velvet tints, I have 6 for now and yes you gotta look them up in more then 2 places to really get a feeling of the color. But honestly, I personally think we should do that with everything. Anyway, they are just so naturel and light weight. So I am crazy about them, but Asian makeup generelly fit me better 😅

Honestly, whether she did or didn't like the products isn't even the point. If you buy a product not knowing what it's for and you decide that you don't like it, is your opinion still valid? No, it's not because you're not understanding what functionality that product has.
First of all, the generalized title of this video isn't even valid because she didn't even properly do her research in what products are popular enough to "represent K-Beauty" and to stand behind the title of "Best and Worst". As a TVclipr, its literally your job to be aware of trends and the products in the market. As someone who has such a huge platform and holds weight to their words, you should be doing your research before voicing your opinion to so many people. For everyone saying why have these products on the market internationally, it's because there are asians EVERYWHERE. For example, there are asian consumers in America who want to buy these products, SHOCKER.

  • Zoray Park
Zoray Park 2 months ago +2

The reality is that we can use, apply and review products how ever WE WANT. If you did not like her way of using the products or applying them you can leave. No matter where the product was manufactured she can apply it how ever she wants to. It's not her fault you are salty about it. She's American, meaning she can use it how she knows and wants to. You don't see Asians using our products like we do, so we will use their products like we want to. It's and individual thing.

Pony effect has good palettes! For kbeauty pony is one of the best brands. I was living on their stuff when i was living out there. Etude house do have palettes with those colours, the coffee one for sure had similar shadows to those two you tried!

Korean makeup will never be the same as European makeup including shade range. Korean makeup is made to cater for KOREANS and their style which is pale dewy skin that’s why products are moisturising or “greasy”. Most products will also be shimmery like the blush because of the glass skin trend that’s very popular there. I love Tati but she should do her research before reviewing makeup from other places💕

    News flash!!!:
K-beauty makeup isn't meant to be used in a western style way, so don't get upset if Korean style make up doesn't look like your glam make up style,
P.S Don't ever buy k beauty make up off of online stores unless it's the official website, it's all knock off's and it'll be bad for your skin

ok so... I'm half Korean half Chinese Make-up in general doesn't have a way to put it on ur face, it is an own style... and I use normal make-up to give a Korean beauty look, and western people don't have a problem with that so y'all need to calm urself.

  • Anika ReRe
Anika ReRe 5 months ago +1

As a brown person my self it is kind of disappointing when I try to get some k-beauty products because I really like the whole minimalistic mindset of it and the glowing form within dewy look and how they are not going to clog you pores most of the time and the shade range is not that wide most of the time there is just 3 shades and I get that it is targeted to Koreans but the shades are mostly white like sunburned by the moon white and not all Koreans are that light because there is a sun that gives people tans and it’s just the way they were born and it bugs me that beauty brand only caters to people with light skin because come on the world is so much more diverse and everyone just wants to belong

If you got this far thanks for listening to my rant 🙏🏼
