One of the best scenes in the wire was Omar's testimony against Cheese.
"What is your profession Mr Little?"
    "Profession?"
"Your job. How do you make money?"
    " I rip and run."
    "Excuse me?"
    "I robs drug dealers."

I've grown to be a big Michael K Williams fan over the years, love him in everything I've seen him in, from old "Law & Order" appearances, to "The Wire", to "Boardwalk Empire" ("Chalky White", what a great character name!), to "Hap and Leonard". Kudos to him for not being afraid to play gay characters. He has real screen presence, and I hope we continue to see him in a lot of varied roles.

"So much noise, so little signal."
"If there is no great booming voice from the sky, telling us exactly what we need to do. Then we must fill that silent void, with our own."

This is rarefied air, I admit. There are few, and proud, left lingering up here. But it is no coincidence, that when the valley burns down below, it is those at the top who are the first to suffocate.

Yes, the question, when you are young, it seems so cruel at first, so sharp and unkind. Like a harsh bright light being shone cruelly, and directly, into your wide eyes.

"God has the ultimate cop flashlight. It doesn't just blind you, it eviscerates your sin."

We have a moral imperative to lead the world into a new paradigm; a better paradigm. There are those that are with us, stuck in the past. There are those that are weak and incurious.

But, if they won't lead us, then we must lead them. We have to be their savior, in more ways, than one. If they can't see the light shining brightly before them, then we must show it to them.

We should kindly blind them with that light, if we must. We must shine in it directly in their eyes. And we must look into them, and ask ourselves, why? Why are you so lost, in this beautiful world?

"Hold them close, for they were once you."

Why does Trump act the way he does? Why is so he so insecure, and his motives, seemingly, always fail the test of logic, why so often, does this 'so-called President', fail to make sense. Well, most can see this plainly for themselves. But let's get down to brass tacks.

"It's past time to paint this sad 'man', as a clown, and his administration as a circus. This is no Pagliacci, my friend. Believe me."

Trump is just another lost child, in a land full of screaming lost children. In America, we seem to be cast into the moral, and spiritual pit that dwells deep at the bottom of the Earth.

"Are you part, or are you parcel?"

And for a long time, living here, I almost felt like succumbing to all the hate and derision. But, in time, I flipped that script. I saw the light, in no uncertain terms. But, this journey is not about me.

This journey is about all you!

This journey is about the audience. This about the fans, and the flames, out there, suffering and scorching this great land. For you have become our wild sheep.

"You are the flock left searching, for the Shepard."

We have a man, that stares at us, and tell us he is our leader. But, that is not the case. Trump is our follower, And we must lead him.

I have chosen a few, brave and very specific messengers; and they know who they are. There are just a small handful, I can count them on one hand, that have been chosen.

After many, many years, decades even, I can say, that they passed so many of our worldly tests, and ended up on the right side of history. But these bright angels, are fully capable of knowing for themselves, their purpose, and signing the terms of their own contract with America. I will let them choose, their own path.

I will not reveal them, but personally I think it is obvious. For they have long been using their natural gifts given from on high, to help lead our country, out from this shifting and uncertain darkness. Unfortunately, because of their position, they are unlikely to know the true danger that lies before us.

    "That's where I come in."

We all have our part to play. But, the problem is that this part is not obvious. In our wild and frenetic culture, the chaos of distraction reigns supreme. We have created a machine, that makes monsters from babies. Just look at our schools. You don't need me to say it. You already know the truth, for yourselves.

But, these monsters reflect only our own deep despair. Ok, I must say, that the promised land is not full of wealth, celebrity and fame. It's impossible for the world, to focus on the few, forever.

"What we need now, is for the few, to focus on the world."

We need, at this time, for those few precious souls at the top, to be the tide to float the boats.

Follow me. Into the promised land.

Don't be afraid, just take my hand.

The light, at first, it may scare and blind you.

Let me remind you, do not fear God's judgement.

You must let go of the past.

Otherwise, you will fail to see the future.

    Come on, follow me!

He'd stepped out and heard commotion, so when he went over to intervene, one of the antagonistic fellows pulled his hand back to hit Michael, and Michael didn't see that he'd spit a razor into the space in between his fingers.

If you really need a hand, then take mine, and 'come on, follow me!'
      A brilliant world awaits.

Bourdain was so "human" be decided to make his OWN DAUGHTER a fatherless child.
      Think about that.

"We are all born soft, fleshy humans, but we develop our thick skin, and learn to hide deep within, to shelter our soft bits, from the harsh world we have inadvertently created."
