    USA vs Soviet Union.
    The UK was just there helping the US lol. Most the other European countries didn't do much until the Korean War, but then again it's not the UK did much either. They did help the USA in espionage and nuclear weapons programs buts kinda it

    Cold War is better described as war without direct confrontation. There was armed conflict, Korea, Vietnam, Afghanistan, bay of pigs, etc but Americans and Soviets were not attacking each other directly.

    There is a fact that in 1945 there was a plan called operation unthinkable proposed by Winston Churchill to pushed to the Soviet forces out of Eastern Europe but it was cancelled because British and american forces were outnumbered by the soviet forces at Europe in that time.
