    Point of common sense:
If the bill is so great, why not allow time for debate and deliberation? Moreover, why not allow your own Republican members time to read it for themselves before forcing them to vote to pass it first? Speaker Ryan, we have proof that you are a lying hypocrite.

-- And because of this - RepubliCONs know - and have known for years - they can blatantly - obviously LIE every time a Camera is pointed at them - and tens of millions of Trump Voters will - amazingly -
BELIEVE the lies. The obvious empirical evidence that this is utterly true is : Donald Trump is President of The United States. ( and a side note - Donald Trump has been calculated to tell at least one flat out LIE ( on average ) every 3 minutes that he speaks - and that 78% of his statements while on the Campaign Trail were LIES. SAD! ( lol )

Treating poor people via ER is the worst system possible. First, if someone doesn't have health insurance, then they are way more likely to avoid preventive care due to the cost. And more so, hospitals incur huge financial losses treating patients at ERs without insurance. Who do you think pays for that? That's the reason our premiums are so ridiculously expensive

  • Linda Wright

This is a classic example of Republican politicians caring more about increasing profits for health insurance companies and the very rich than using federal tax dollars to help the working poor and our elderly. They would much rather provide more federal welfare for big corporations and the very rich in the form of more tax exemptions and other sweetheart deals for their rich sponsors. Republican politician Labrador is just one of many members of Congress who should be voted out of office and replaced with someone who is willing to work to help all our citizens, especially the working poor, school children, military veterans, the disabled and our elderly. Let's make big corporations and the very rich pay their fair share of taxes so that the middle class is no longer paying the bulk of federal taxes. Let's close loopholes and make rich Americans pay taxes on overseas assets (such as ownership in foreign companies that take jobs away from Americans), on profits earned overseas and on profits hidden in off-shore accounts. Let's use our federal tax dollars wisely to subsidize school lunches, increase the salaries of public school teachers, provide job training and jobs programs for our young people and provide re-training and decent jobs for blue collar adults left behind by automation. Let's invest in protecting our environment, including our national parks, so that we leave the world a better and cleaner place for future generations. And let's welcome well-educated and hard-working immigrants, no matter their skin color or religion, who want to become citizens and want to make valuable contributions to our nation.

I believe the political arguments have created a new distinction now. And that is between having a humanitarian element of your politics and not. It seems to me that by stripping $880 mil. out of health care, and then giving $883 mil. in tax breaks to the rich is not a humanitarian element to your out look on society.

Last elections lie (4+ years ago) was that the other 9 out of 10 industrialized nations who "do" provide healthcare for their citizens, but their people hated it and yearned for our system. Well... that was a load of steaming hooey! I have been asking everyone I meet who has an accent, just what they thought of their healthcare... their response... "They love it!" And they think we Americans (the richest nation in the world) ought to be ashamed for what the politicians are doing to us... their citizens! In these past four years, I have spoken with well over 20 to 30 individuals and couples... and not even one of them said they'd trade their healthcare system for ours... not one.
And why? Because the insurance industry owns the politicians threw lobbyists and donations... that's why! It ought to be illegal*

You should look into what the republicans took out of the original ACA maybe if they didn't stick the greedy like hands in it, it would of worked better maybe instead of fighting against it for 7 years they should of worked on ways to improve it those cost could of came down, maybe if congress would allow Medicare to negotiate prices with the drug companies prices would of came down the ACA wasn't perfect but it's a lot better then what we're about to get yes some ppl but have a cheaper price but what's the point of even buying insurance if it doesn't cover anything

The Left are the real racists because they brainwash people into thinking of things in terms of groups/races rather than ideas, individuals and families. The only embarrassment the hispanics/latinos should feel is that they come to America because (1) there is opportunity here and (2) it is not as crappy as the country they left, yet when they get here they vote for same policies and big gov't turning America into the country they just left!
