Okay, I watched this. You were buying Monopoly for Millennials for $19.75 plus tax at Walmart. Said selling at a huge profit. But I just looked at Amazon. There are 17 different sellers selling for $22 or less. With tax you are about$21.20 on your purchase, so after fees from Amazon and such, HOW are you making ANY money on this deal> Seems like you would LOSE money. But you bought a bunch of them. Tell me how this would generate a profit??
Why would someone buy them from you for more than they would pay from someone else on Amazon?

    • John Fox

+Bearded Picker got it. YOu didn't hold the other 51 then I take it. Just saw Walmart now has them for $11.99 on rollback pricing. WOW. You hit it while hot, and sold while you could. Okay, thanks. I used to do this same thing on Hallmark ornaments, Beanie babies and teenie beanie babies when they were hot. What I'm really looking for is how to sell these deals on Amazon. I'll keep digging. You probably have other videos. Thanks.

I could get one on Amazon for 17 dollars, and that's including shipping. I don't get why people would by them for 18, much less 77. Unless they all go out of stock on Christmas or something...Many people feel they're missing something...I'm with them.

so my question. How do you know? how did you know THIS would be something you could resell with profit fast enough to be able to take advantage of it?
I tried this once. some cheap bluetooth headphones. they were expensive for their apparent quality $35 but clearance for $7 and they were SHOCKINGLY good quality in the department that mattered. Sound Quality. some of the best I ever had to this day! so I bought every one I could find figuring to flip on ebay (this was before amazon was really hot)
no dice. everyone else thought of doing the same damned thing drove the price down to .... around $7 what I paid for them. worthless. I still have them :-)
but dammit the Sound Bar that was $35 that I could not afford to buy a bunch of. fuck. that was flying for $150 a pop. GRrrrrrrrrrr :-)

You have to take in to account the release date of this specific item, it was new around the time this was filmed. Meaning people wanted it more, it was also before major holidays, both thanksgiving and christmas, meaning he was hiting a specific consumer, as well, monopoly might have either a) been sold out b) not had a full listing for it like they do now. Its all about timing.
