    About The Carol Burnett Show
While there’s no truth to the rumor that “CBS” ever stood for The Carol Burnett Show, for eleven seasons and 278 episodes, this star-studded extravaganza of sketch comedy, song and dance became entertainment central for the network and TV viewers. Burnett operated in a relaxed theater setting that allowed her to take questions, cut loose with her famous Tarzan yell and join fellow performers Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence and Lyle Waggoner to have a laugh or sing a song. The show received 25 Emmy Awards and eight Golden Globes, making it one of the most honored shows in television history.

6:36 Yeah who wouldn't wanna snuggle up with Harvey Korman! Handsome man, especially when he's dressed in a double-breasted suit!! And Tim Conway was adorable! R.I.P. to both.

Grew up in the UK so never saw this show before TVclip. Absolute comedy gold. Just discovering Korman and Conway for the first time (and the talents of Carol Burnett, who I'd only seen in film before).

This is the one show that always made me literally belly laugh! Today, I still do it every time I see the very same sketches, over and over. And not to mention, they also cause me to cry rivers of real tears. IMO it was the absolute funniest show of all comedies, and I believe this is still just as true, today.

Puppy love. When they hurt the little one . . . did you see the response? A wag of the tail and a kiss to the side of the human. Instant forgiveness. Instant love. Kid tested . . . mother approved. And baby never hit back. But you all JOINED IN, didn't you?

The "couldn't keep a straight face" shtick worked great once or even twice but.. wore thin and in the long run took the laugh out of that tremendous team.
Great stuff except for the lack of the straight man. Eventually they were cracking up before the audience got warmed up.

Hilarious from start to finish. What makes this so funny is Conways transformation he becomes a dog. Burnet followed but she was no match to the comedians mimics.

On may 13,2019 I started to notice something very odd happening in my life. It seemed that day that a lot of things regarding Tim Conway kept popping up in my life. I hit the Google icon on my phone and it opens my homepage up, Yahoo!, and there I saw an article about Tim Conway, as I scrolled down my news updates I saw an ad featuring Tim Conway. Later that day I was on the phone with my mother and when she first answered she was laughing, she told me her and my step dad had just been talking about Tim Conway's elephant sketch on the Carol Burnett show and she was still laughing when I called. After I got of the phone with her a friend messaged me on Facebook and during that conversation he brought up Tim Conway, my friend is younger than me and was not even born when Burnett's show was on the air and my friend really has a dry sense of humor. So him liking and especially him bringing up Tim was odd and I told him that as well. Later that evening You Tube recommended several of the Conway skits from the Burnett show and even a couple from his other TV appearances. I did watch that elephant skit that night and also the one where he is the dentist and kept sticking himself with the novacaine lol. Then the next day arrives May 14, 2019 and the news comes out that Tim Conway had passed away. Maybe God wanted me and others to give Tim's last day on earth one more day of millions of people all laughing at his antics? RIP Mr. Conway, you sir are a true comedy legend and I thank you for all the laughs!!
