Hey Scotty, I made the mistake of buying a 2016 Dodge Dart SXT. The damn center console keeps going out. Screen and all air conditioning controls die. Been to the dealer 4 times already. Nothing ever works. Still in Warranty. Any advise?

Hey scotty I have a 2009 Toyota Corolla and everytime i cold start it. It makes a brief rattling noise you kno what's making that sound because ive been trying to find and fix the problem. I don't want to assume its the timing chain but i want to see if its something else

I don’t get it Scotty. We buy dream cars and don’t keep them stock most people who want to put performance in their cars they don’t watch your videos, they either do it them self’s like me or get tips from someone else. Basically don’t get cars that are built for getting bet on if you can’t figure it yourself.

Hey Scotty! Can you talk about the bad piston rings and oil consumption problems that should have been recalled in the 09-11 Audi 2.0 TFSI engines? I bought one when I was 19 and got screwed over by it.

Scotty I got a 2000 Lexus es300 it has an oil leak from the oil pan gasket so I’ll have that changed but it has a second oil leak directly on the other side across from the oil pan itself. What piece would most likely be the one that has to be changed as well if it’s dripping from the oil pan already?

Lol so you people never learn that we all different and what someone says it's right or wrong is never wrong or right!? If you like a car ,just buy it and enjoy it if you listen to him or another experts guy's you will never going to succeed in life!!!!!!!!!! I do have a worst car in world for many ppl but for me is the best. 0 problems 200k+ and I love it. So he can be a expert and he can have a ton of clients that been having a ton of problems with their cars(Bmw,Mercedes,Ford's, Chevy, kia,etc...)but their lives are not same as yours.......

    • Mark Kauffman
      Mark Kauffman 3 months ago

@REALDEMON4U You are absolutely right, Scotty is just making general statements. If you take your BMW to the dealership as his customers did, it will be very expensive to maintain. On the other hand, if you know how to do it yourself, then it will not be nearly as expensive to own it. I personally have a 2017 BMW that is not my daily driver, but I enjoy every mile I drive that car. To me it is worth owning a car that I really like driving, not just a plain old beater car like a 94 Celica that just gets me from point A to point B.

I couldn't disagree more about your assessment on Chargers. I have a Lexus RX330 and a 2012 v6 Charger and it runs just fine at 130k mi; actually the rx330 has always had a erratic shifting tranny and burns a qt every 2000 miles. Charger does nothing.

totally agree about the charger. rented a 2019 charger gt for a week til my truck is fixed. its a fun car to drive for sure, even the v6 responds well, but the suspension is so tight and stiff it makes long drives a bit taxing. its defiantly something i wouldnt daily drive. if in the market for a new car, i would rent one for a day or two just to get an idea of what to expect on a daily bases

On the 2016 Nissan Altima, it may be the transmission. I had the same problem along with 2 other people I know. The CVT transmission went out on mine at 82,522 miles.

My 1992 Nissan Stanza was a great car. It had a manual transmission and the indestructible KA24E engine. It wasn't the most fuel efficient or powerful car, but I drove the heck out of that thing and it never once let me down.
