Though the show's stars, Paul Michael Glaser (Starsky) and David Soul (Hutch), gained considerable fame from the series, Starsky's red-with-a-white stripe was a Ford Gran Torino ! :-)

So the British drained India of its economy , cause famines , massacre people all over the country , essentially be a parasite, and then someone comes around and says that India could have fought harder.
Just like Kanye West saying "Slavery was a choice"
That is disrespectful. Didn't expect this from you ,Oliver

Yes, India could have fought back harder, and the british could have been humane and not cause man made famines killing millions.

Ironically... France put up one helluva fight. They had more men in the battle and had more arms and far better army than most other nations of the time.. but nothing beats a methed-out nazi war machine... it was only after 18 months of being completely kited out on the stuff the germans were getting worried about addiction and had to stop their own troops from taking it.

Why the hell do Americans think the French are cowards or bad at war?
Remember Napoleon? Remember the French Revolution? Remember the resistance during Nazi occupation?
Srsly, I have no clue why France gets the blame for the Nazis when pretty much half of the continent did the same. The only ones crazy enough to frontally oppose the Nazis were the USSR, and it cost them 20 million lives. The US only appeared in the last minute to beat a dead horse and claim part of the spoils.

The best part about Britain is that John Oliver could come back home and say it to the Queens face and she'd still say something like 'nice to meet you'. America thinks they have freedom of speech, but look at yourself. Trump would tweet back an insult in a heartbeat. The Queen doesn't give a fuck. Nobody gives a fuck. He can say what he wants. In fact, we insult our own monarchy more than anyone.
