Damn i missed my opportunity to speak on this stream. I first joined them in 08 on "Top 10 worse ways to die in video games" and thought they were hilarious. I bookmark their website and always checked updates from them. Fast forward in 2010 i became a G1 and went under the name "boomba206". I made my first video reviewing wrestlemania back in 2010. I was extremely happy to noticed 1 week later I was on the G1 spotlight. Getting recognized for my video by bryan was the most happiest days of my life. I bever thought i would get noticed. It was amazing. I love the content on there (clip of the week, hard news and top 10 were my favorites. Including the "top 10 theme song. Catchy AF). Thank you for that. It was amazing.

I wondered where this cringy loser who cut anyone's throat to get an extra buck out of Screwattack went to. It's hilarious seeing how far the mighty has fallen.

I am going to miss the old ScrewAttack from 2006 to early 2019. It has been a place of humor, of creativity and of community all these years. Your work in animation has inspired me into doing work on animation and it's sad to see ScrewAttack gone forever. I will miss you guys always.
    RIP ScrewAttack

ScrewAttack will be missed. It was a big part of high school and college. Does anyone know where there is a archive of the old ScrewAttack videos before Rooster Teeth? Also I just bought some ScrewAttack merch while the Rooster Teeth store still has stock.

Maaaayn I remember watchin Avgn which lead me over to Screwattack and so many good greators and shows. Hard News, Brentalfloss, Your OWN top 10s Craig really molded my young brain into a deep love for retro games

I'm a little late to the party, but ScrewAttack had a really significant impact on my life that has influenced it to this day. It introduced me to AVGN (I was fortunate enough to work on a few VFX shots for the movie), and was the stepping stone to discovering Gametrailers (and now I chat with those guys on a regular basis and do graphics for them). To this very day I'll go back from time to time to rewatch my favorite videos (i.e. the eating challenges). My love and respect for retro videogames started at ScrewAttack, my hype for the Wii grew with GameJew, and all the while I got my daily recap with Hard News. A lot of really successful people can trace their journeys all the way to two awkward dudes choosing an even more awkward-sounding domain name. Thank you Craig! Thank you ScrewAttack!

I was introduced to Screwattack from a Video Game Vault of Ristar (a game i loved as a kid) way back in 2009. It got me into retro gaming From there, Hard News with Daily Destin/Jared and looked forward to Sidescrollers every Wednesday. I loved ScrewAttack so much. I am grateful that Game Attack lives on, and your passion.

I miss good old ScrewAttack and GameTrailers from 2008-2012 watching videos constantly from my 6th Form and Uni years in that era as a little distraction from studying my subjects.

Today I feel that video game industry is very focused on new updates every so often to improve the experience for newer/younger players (and these guys are usually 8/9 year olds dammit!)

If only this channel would make a Top 10, video game news, "Let's Plays", or even Video Game Review, it would've been more interesting. But as it is, anyone can do certain subjects better. Watchmojo was popular with Top 10, the internet elaborates on video game news better than before, and a few does the Video Game Review & "Le'ts Plays" better like Gamexplain, Somecallmejohnny, & SGB.

My dream was to one day have enough money to fly out to SGC and meet you all in person. I’ve been watching Screwattack since 2011 and they helped me get through times were I had nothing. I moved from my hometown, no job, no education, and no motivation at all to get up every day. However, I used to watch videos in Gametrailers and Screwattack videos were always the best. I remember watching sidescrollers like it was my news of the day. So sad that Screwattack is over, so many memories live there and I would’ve love to meet the crew in person. Thank you Craig for all the memories

I honestly am not who I am today without Screwattack. Stumbling upon a Top Ten vid circa 2009 cast me into the void and I couldn’t get out. The family; the laughs; the anticipation of a new Sidescrollers every week; VGV and AVGN getting me into retro gaming; Sam’s swag; Nick breaking EVERYTHING; Chad’s dad puns; Ben’s cute face; me crying on the couch while remotely watching Angel give speeches at SGC; all beautiful things that will go down in internet lore forever. Pouring one out. ⚡️🍻⚡️

I just saw the story today. I had not been watching much from ScrewAttack in a long while but it is sad to see it go but if anything, it has been reborn as Game Attack. I had been watching it since it was introduced to me on GameTrailers when the website was still around with Top 10s and AVGN. I definitely will be checking out Game Attack on Twitch.
