With over 20 movies and counting making up the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we’ve seen so many of our favorite superheroes on the big screen. From Captain America’s superhuman strength to Captain Marvel’s photon blasts, we’ve also seen plenty of incredible powers on display, but despite all of this, comic book fans are still waiting to see how some powers will be used in the MCU. Today, we’re going to take a look at some superpowers MCU characters have, but for some reason, never use.
Captain Marvel is known for having some absolutely ridiculous powers. In fact, Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, said that she’s the most powerful character in the entire MCU. We’ve seen some of those powers on display in her standalone movie, specifically when she punched a spaceship, but believe it or not, she has even more powers that make her stronger.
Iron Man is known for not having any superpowers in the MCU, even though being a genius probably is one, but for a short time in the comics, he did have a power that may surprise you and, of course, it involves his Iron Man suit and advanced tech. Even Thor has a secret power that may very well make him every linguist’s best friend and don’t get us started on some of these other powers that, if used, could’ve changed the MCU forever.
There are so many other unused superpowers our favorite superheroes have, so enjoy the video and don’t forget to subscribe to CBR for more MCU content.

16 minutes for 15 superpowers? 2 times too long.

Longer explanation video - less attention and actual respect in long term.
BTW. Alot of fake information, and wrong video title. fun you, fake fans.

I realize the video was pre-Endgame but if we're gonna play couldawouldashoulda:
Thor, Valkyrie, Captain America or Hulk:
Use Stormbreaker to amputate the gauntlet arm.
Rip off Thanos' head or gauntlet arm.
Mind-control all the Children of Thanos to side against Thanos.
    Captain Marvel:
    Whatever she wants.
    Dr. Strange or any sorcerer:
use portals to either decapitate Thanos, or amputate the gauntlet arm.
Iron Man and Pym and Quill
retrofit his TANK MISSILE!! with Quill's gravity-collapse thingy, and implode Thanos' brain.
    Iron Man
Nano-tech anti-gauntlet which prevents an ensnared Thanos from snapping his fingers.
Basically, with the right circumstances, anyone with a superior blade (Gamora's would kill him if he didn't see it coming):
    Decapitate, amputate.
But the most obvious one of all, alas, did not come to pass:
rip apart the fourth wall, and bring the Fox characters with him.
Oh, and what the shit-biscuit. Bring the Justice League, too.

Disclaimer: I know the video was made pre- Endgame (the Ronin segment was in the trailers).
    1. Endgame shows how powerful Captain Marvel is. Thanos did not put a dent in her physically. But he gave her a pretty good Power-stone gut-punch. She felt it. Arguably, she showed a glimpse of Seventh Sense when she didn't flinch as Stormbreaker was summoned very close to her. You might argue she just wasn't afraid of being hit by Stormbreaker. I assert she might have known it wasn't going to hit her.
    2. Nano-tech is a non-starter. We already see him use it in Infinity War to patch himself when Thanos impales him.
    5. Hulk can resist mind-control to calm him, but that's not what Wanda did. She triggered him and let him rage.
    8. Black Panther's ability could come into play in either Multiverse of Madness or the reboot of Blade.
    13. All you're complaining about is the application of a power, not the existence of a new or unused power.
    14. Falcon was actually a mutant, and that's likely why his power was not included in the MCU.

    1. No one cares, bad retcon from Ms. Marvel.
    2. Stark's Technopath mutation or Extremus, maybe both that would have made one great fight calling his entire armoury (or what's left) then switching between them during the Thanos fight.
    3. Yeah super soldier it comes with the other powers, one of the reasons he wasn't accepted was he wore glasses (and being asthmatic)
    4. The All Tongue is quite interesting, it just maybe a background power that in the MCU he has to learn that language to translate using that power.
    5. Hulk has been proven to be a mindless being of rage and strength, the more angry he is the less mental abilities he has (ie talking and understanding just roar or smash everything) so how do you control a mindless beast via mental links?
    6. Hawkeye/Ronin is like the Batman of the Marvel Universe.
    7. An army of spiders would work in the MCU, push Parker into Arachnid research.
    8. Black Panther could bring them back but at what cost?
    9. Wanda like her brother are Mutants just enhanced or normal awakened via an Infinity Stone.
    10. Dr. Strange is meant to be quite the martial artist, but maybe in the MCU he's held back with a mental block over his hands?
    11. Vision should have been used more, even if it was just as a collection of data watching over the battle, returning to his Jarvis role, maybe talking with Ultron too.
    12. Possibly, but this was teenage Groot, so like you said he needs to be an adult.
    13. Ant man might use that attack to do off screen damage inside someone.
    14. Wilson could still have that link, to say that's ridiculous is like saying Hulk's unlimited strength is ridiculous in Marvel Universe, but MCU logic is nerf Hulk (The one Earthling who could face and fight Thanos evenly was not used).
    15. That's basic (to regenerate) but she's meant to rule Asgard now, right? So being a warrior race why do they tollerate her decision to escape and not fight?

This video is stupid because all these super powers are all from the comics and this is the MCU and if the comics rules apply then thanos wouldn’t be able to destroy the infinity stones by destroying them selves.

Disturbing and revolting and quite a bit confusing how you and other paid for propagandists keep bringing up Captain Marvel.....as if it is a legitimate part of the MCU.

The problem with the MCU is, even though it is decent enough, it insists on injecting toxic liberal memes. Captain Marvel however was just one long toxic liberal meme without bothering to do a decent job with the plot nor hire a credible actor. Most well known for the fact that the cat from this movie got more viewership on a two hour TVclip video opening day than the movie got in theaters.

Homeslice......I know they pay you to bring it up but not enough. No matter how many times you sell out, it won't change this turd into anything else. But it does make you less than credible.

Is ketchup on a hotdog really that strange? It's the pretty much the default way I've eaten it since I was a child. I mean, I occasionally add other ingredients (never mayonnaise) like mustard but it is totally normal to me and quite delicious. I didn't get this joke in the movie.

WAIT A MINUTE - MAJOR THEORY! They killed Thanos from the past - Using the stones - BEFORE he got the stones and did the snap! - Then *VISION and LOKI* aren't dead any longer - (and others) Because The past Thanos was killed before he ever got the stones in the first place - hence he never did the snap. Never got the first stone, Nor was he alive to fight in Infinity War... The Asgardians are still alive, The collector was never attacked, Eitri, and the Dwarven people were never attacked - etc...

    • Livindo Designer
      Livindo Designer 23 days ago

Well, based on Hulk Banner's theory, killing Thanos from the past won't change the future, because the future became the past, and the past became present, so basically anything happened to the new present won't effect the new past.
