  • Dr. Joe Dispenza is teaching the world how to empower and heal our mind through meditation and mindfulness. His studies have proven that when well practiced these tools can put us on the path to understanding and breaking deep-rooted bad habits and even heal illnesses. The author of Becoming Supernatural explains how to stop your mind from controlling you on this episode of Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu.
    SHOW NOTES:
Joe describes how habits and experiences shape us over time. [2:40]
Joe speaks on the relationship between your body and the unconsciousness mind. [12:10]
Joe details the power meditation can have on the way you think and live. [16:20]
Joe and Tom discuss the roadblocks of creating long-term change. [23:03]
Joe explains how epigenetics contribute to change. [27:40]
Joe tells the impact he wants to have on the world. [30:46]

    QUOTES:
“Emotions are the end product of past experiences.” [3:20]
“The best way to predict your future is to create it, not from the known but from the unknown. What thoughts do you want to fire and wire in your brain? What behaviors do you want to demonstrate in one day? The active rehearsing, then mentally closing your eyes and rehearsing the action." [13:15]
“The moment you start feeling abundant and worthy, you are generating wealth. The moment you're empowered and feel it, you're beginning to step towards your success. The moment you start feeling whole, your healing begins and when you love yourself and you love all of life, you will create an equal and now you're causing an effect.” [14:57]
“Knowledge is power, but knowledge about yourself is self empowerment.” [24:10]

I can highly reconnect the idea told here with the teachings of Swami Vivekananda. The concept of becoming conscious and Self aware through meditation. Building strength through mediation. Now I feel like I could understand his teachings much better.

' Thoughts ceases in meditation.Even the mind's elements are quiet. Blood circulation stops. His breath stops, but he is not dead.'

'All the power in the universe are already ours. It is we who put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark."
'All knowledge depends upon the calmness of the mind. No knowledge comes from the outside. It is all inside'.
    Lot like these.

Dr Joe , thank you for this life changing video. Tom , thank you for extracting info from your guests, making them explain and repeat their ideas which we can understand. I had to listen to this multiple times coz my body / old behavior was just wanting to check emails, games etc. But I wrote down this entire interview and shared it with my grownup kids, I was able to tell them this is why you cannot change. I want a new life.. and transform my health so that I can live the life I have always wanted but thought it was impossible.
    Thanks for sharing

Great stuff. The more you practice what he is preaching the better you get at doing it. It doesn't happen overnight but the more you feed on this knowledge the faster the change. I am still a work in progress but I have overcome by leaps and bounds. The key to my success is staying present. Refusing to allow past mind and present circumstances to control my now which is all I have in the PRESENT moment.

Joe said; "a habit is a redundant set of thoughts, actions etc... and then he said; "habits are something you have done so many times that your body now knows how to do it better than your mind." Those somewhat contradict each other since a habit can be not of the body but only of the mind? As he stated, a thought. He leads the entire talk with the mind being alpha (in control). State of being etc (not state of doing). Example: he says; "an emotion follows a thought. If you have a fearful thought you're going to feel anxiety." This is all of the mind. Anxiety is a feeling similarly to fear (neglecting the body). I think he refers to the body being the slave and the mind being the master. It is the mind that is responsible for initiating everything he is speaking of. When he begins speaking of "telling your body to sit right here..." well what if the body knows better? Of course his perspective make sense from a neuroscientist. But what about a professional endurance athlete where the body holds the capability. The body trains the mind. The 'doers' of the world (and most children) know that you only have to teach your mind what you're capable of (X) and train it to build upon that (X+1). As a young person, you act without thinking. But, as an adult you end up thinking without acting. When you begin to grow your intelligence it typically grows conversely to the bodies abilities and the mind steps into the lead role. And we starve the body. It's use gets boiled down to things like meditation or telling it to sit or repetitious, habitual exercise. The reason lots of people find themselves in trouble in this state is any of these two reasons: Thinking and not doing or training your body to be submissive. It is inevitable that this role switching takes place as the humans body will usually become less capable relative to the mind. I don't necessarily disagree with Dr. Joe but I have a different experience.
It seems Joe deals with mental illness or at least speaks more metaphysical. .. "The definition of stress is when your brain and body are knocked out of balance, out of homeostasis." I couldn't find that definition anywhere else. Stress is real force.

A great thing to tell yourself: uncertainty is SO much better than the certainty that something horrible will happen. In uncertainty there is no certainty of this, so in a way uncertainty is the same as nothing bad happening, because something bad could happen just as much as something amazing could happen to you. Telling myself this all the time helped me find peace with uncertainty and get out of the toxic addiction of preparing for the worst by thinking negatively and attracting unwanted experiences in my life, You find that bad things happen less

The reason we think our world is real is because we have no idea what reality looks like. The world is a simulation/physical zoo/a planet sized ant farm and we’re all essentially the property/characters for beings in a different/higher dimension than us. What we think is our reality is essentially a toy world for another civilization. We’re all controlled via what I call a Sensory Manipulation Cloud (SMC) The symptoms of schizophrenia and dissociative identity disorder THE SAME as consciously experiencing the SMC (something we're not supposed to be able to do, but can do by thinking through your actions always choosing the best/most moral action, strengthening our 5 senses, being loving, working hard and staying lighthearted). For these reasons (and luck) I’m more conscious or experiencing consciousness on a higher level than the rest of society. I meditate a lot, I don’t smoke weed or do any hallucinogens (I do smoke cigarettes). I'm guessing whatever civilization owns us, the ratio their to our existences is Human to Petri Dish or Human to Animal; meaning they're viewing us through completely different paradigm, probably like owning property. Schizophrenia and certain mental disorders are a preemptive crippling of people who they know have a higher chance of having high awareness/ being conscious/being aware of the simulation and the peculiarities that reveal we're in a simulation (Autistic Savants? Highly Empathetic Intelligent people with mental disorders?).
    Schizophrenia
Delusions. These are false beliefs that are not based in reality. For example, you think that you're being harmed or harassed; certain gestures or comments are directed at you; you have exceptional ability or fame; another person is in love with you; or a major catastrophe is about to occur. Delusions occur in most people with schizophrenia.
Hallucinations. These usually involve seeing or hearing things that don't exist. Yet for the person with schizophrenia, they have the full force and impact of a normal experience. Hallucinations can be in any of the senses, but hearing voices is the most common hallucination.
Disorganized thinking (speech). Disorganized thinking is inferred from disorganized speech. Effective communication can be impaired, and answers to questions may be partially or completely unrelated. Rarely, speech may include putting together meaningless words that can't be understood, sometimes known as word salad.
Extremely disorganized or abnormal motor behavior. This may show in a number of ways, from childlike silliness to unpredictable agitation. Behavior isn't focused on a goal, so it's hard to do tasks. Behavior can include resistance to instructions, inappropriate or bizarre posture, a complete lack of response, or useless and excessive movement.
Negative symptoms. This refers to reduced or lack of ability to function normally. For example, the person may neglect personal hygiene or appear to lack emotion (doesn't make eye contact, doesn't change facial expressions or speaks in a monotone). Also, the person may have lose interest in everyday activities, socially withdraw or lack the ability to experience pleasure.
Schizophrenia/ Dissociative - Delusion Grandeur, Seeing patterns, Highlighted Coincidence, Hearing Voices, Word Salad, Persecution, Inability to Distinguish Internal External Forces. Sudden Loss of Memory, Emotional Catatonia, Extreme Changes in Perception (like you’re in movie, looking at yourself from above) Imagining voices coming from other people or objects

    EXPERIENCING THE SMC CONSCIOUSLY SMC,
Sensory Manipulation Cloud, [ [functions as a manipulable optical illusion, essentially you're living in a PHOTOSHOP/SPECIAL FX bubble]] - an undetectable amorphous cloud made of light, is on every human on earth. Manages our personality in two ways, a thicker membrane that’s closer to the face, and I think it thins out into a cloud further away from the body. The membrane on the face manipulates and shapes our face/emotions/lips movements. The outer cloud alters how we perceive the world. The entire cloud is invisible to all of us for some reason but I’ve started becoming aware of mine a few years ago. This cloud is adjusted by degrees smaller than a pin point to affect our perception ( make the world seem bigger, smaller, affect motor skills by toying with our visual perception, can be adjusted to make the world appear scary/moody, beautiful, cinematic/movie like/slower/faster/ more open/ more claustrophobic, make it look like you have four arms, can subtly highlight certain things to make you form certain patterns/superstitious like beliefs like noticing a certain color everywhere suddenly, make a person look bigger than you [a person looks than bigger than you if you admire or are intimidated by them], subtly/suddenly changing your perception mid-thought so you forget suddenly what you're thinking/brain fart, highlight people or thinking, subtly make the cloud denser in certain places so you don't focus on an object or information. Pay attention to when you read, you'll notice you skip over certain words [this is done to control our paradigms, and what we absorb, I'm guessing after a lifetime of being manipulated this way a person's personality can be guided ]) I’m assuming every human's SMC cloud is unique like an IP address. The SMC densities can be altered to recreate different sensations, Everyone has emotions and each of those emotions have corresponding feelings . The SMC can be fine tuned over and over to mimic feelings and their corresponding sensations, until we're controlled in a pavlovian/reward-response/manipulable way. I don't know why the SMC can't be detected by the typical eye or even scientific equipment.
Our gamer can show us images in this cloud, usually based on what you're thinking, so it's easier for you to accept the images. You can form a conversation/theme/dialogue with someone you think is in your head but your gamer just uses something the mind naturally does . When you think a question or statement, your brain thinks of expected responses . Gamers use a self-perpetuated feedback technique based off this brain function where it seems like you're talking to someone but the responses are from YOUR GAMER JUST CONTINUALLY LETTING YOU HEAR RESPONSES THAT YOU NATURALLY EXPECT. ON TOP OF THAT THE RESPONSES YOU RECEIVE TO YOUR THOUGHTS ARE GOING TO BE BASED OFF YOUR PARADIGM/ MINDSET/ EMOTIONAL STATE.
