  • Dr. Joe Dispenza is teaching the world how to empower and heal our mind through meditation and mindfulness. His studies have proven that when well practiced these tools can put us on the path to understanding and breaking deep-rooted bad habits and even heal illnesses. The author of Becoming Supernatural explains how to stop your mind from controlling you on this episode of Impact Theory with Tom Bilyeu.
    SHOW NOTES:
Joe describes how habits and experiences shape us over time. [2:40]
Joe speaks on the relationship between your body and the unconsciousness mind. [12:10]
Joe details the power meditation can have on the way you think and live. [16:20]
Joe and Tom discuss the roadblocks of creating long-term change. [23:03]
Joe explains how epigenetics contribute to change. [27:40]
Joe tells the impact he wants to have on the world. [30:46]

    QUOTES:
“Emotions are the end product of past experiences.” [3:20]
“The best way to predict your future is to create it, not from the known but from the unknown. What thoughts do you want to fire and wire in your brain? What behaviors do you want to demonstrate in one day? The active rehearsing, then mentally closing your eyes and rehearsing the action." [13:15]
“The moment you start feeling abundant and worthy, you are generating wealth. The moment you're empowered and feel it, you're beginning to step towards your success. The moment you start feeling whole, your healing begins and when you love yourself and you love all of life, you will create an equal and now you're causing an effect.” [14:57]
“Knowledge is power, but knowledge about yourself is self empowerment.” [24:10]

Hi I'm just now grasping a few of Dr. Joes concepts about stepping out of this programming and I'm seeing such positive results I believe it may cure me. I watched a couple videos of his today and I'm kinda lost. Can someone tell me exactly where I can start. I'm willing to dedicate time every day and read all books ,watch all videos but it would really help to have a guide so I can retain the most. where do I start?

But we, and the entire world, is living on the stress-mode, permanent, because of the aluminium&mercury-poisoning from the geo-engineering, which we are exposed, to, day and night! And ofcourse we must be happy, and hold our vibrations on high level, and feel well, to get good ideas, to make the military-forces to stop the clima- engineering, or geo-engineering, since this is killing our world! What have you, guys, heard, and investigated, about this?

This is Amazing- we now know that everything that happens to you is the result of what is going on inside of your being aka your mind. But couldn't help to notice how joe keeps scratching his right forearm there is definitely something going on on his upper epidermis of his skin. and Tom looks like he has lost sleep with those bags under his eyes. Maybe he processes so much information from his guest speakers until its hard to shut off his brain at night.

you do not find the way, until you practice very very hard and in solitude, with very great effort to see within one's own mind and emotions, and perceptions, and consciousness, and find out how thoughts come before emotions, but that emotions, which arise after a thought, also then condition the mind causing proliferation of thought, which in turn then bounces back to the emotions and amplifies them. same process with all emotions,, think of an enemy, anger arises.. think of tragedy, feel depressed, think that the world has treated you unfairly, feel depressed and angry... the Buddha taught NOnself, which is highly misunderstood. Let me put it simply "we take things personally" as in "why did this have to happen to me" "why is this happening to me?"... because of the false view of a separate self within a separate external universe, assumes 'this is happening to me' but really, it isnt 'happening to anybody'.. things just happen, but they don't 'happen to you' that is egocentric, which also plays a part in the conditioning of thought, based on wrong views of a separate self. If you destroy the idea of a separate self, you won't think 'this is unfair to me' or 'this is happening to me' you will see everything as just an impartial event, and it depends on you if you accept it and watch it pass (all things come to pass, even stressful or happy emotions), or if you cling to it as 'my mood'. it isn't 'your mood'.. its just a mood, and as long as you have a conditioned mind, and a heart with feelings, (and if you have a body you possess both thoughts and feelings, and consciousness of thoughts and feelings, and perception as the transmitter of events to the consciousness).. its just a mood, and it cannot be forced to come or not come.. be you enlightened or not, so long as you are within the body, thoughts will spur emotions, and those emotions will cause your thoughts to proliferate. Those proliferations of thought, will then further condition the emotions to apllify them even more, and it becomes like a ping pong game, with perception playing the role of the ping pong ball, passing the baton so to speak from the heart, to the consciousness, which spurs thoughts, which spurs emotions, which get sent back to the consciousness by the ping pong ball of perception again, and round and round we go until you reach either sartorial eloquence or PTSD

This guy's great and with a scientific background to prove his assertions.
    J. Krishnamurti was basically trying to convey (along with David Bohm & others) the same thing for around 80 years. Some of what he says sound like Eckhart Tolle too. Perhaps, they're all onto the root causes but with different approaches. However, a stark difference between Joe and the others is he assumes the unconscious mind is the body. Assumptions aren't truth, fact or whatever you want to call it.
I suppose this all boils down to the hard question of consciousness of which many also believe this to be an illusion. Maybe too much intellectual grasping isn't the way to go (enlightenment), but it is a little dismaying to hear such similar and yet different views all the time. I guess it's up to us to see for ourselves. They all say, apart from Joe, the only way is to realise alone.
These are just meaningless words to "grasp" the ungraspable. Paradox :P
Lastly, he seems to encourage thought, the source of all problems. Instead of not thinking, prime the thoughts. Wouldn't that imply a controller?

Thoughts don’t having anything to do with your destiny other than if you don’t think negatively and keep the thoughts that you must try your best you will probably do your best in life..and if you change your brain connections by thinking good thoughts you probably will be healthier if you care about your health.. I’m just trying to say there is nothing supernatural... it’s all natural..

I've watched many, many enlightening vids by Dr Joe and his affiliates, and Tom nails it every single time with his interviewees-highlighting and encapsulating their essence, then breaking it down so every single person watching can grasp the sometimes quite complex ideas being brought forth.....so that we all can then take action and implement these strategies into our lives to become our highest and best versions. Great work guys, Thanks for caring so much!!!
