Wear a full or half slip underneath. Imagine a silky slip. Easy. No peek a boo moments... unless there's some nice lace trim the slip showing. Cheap dresses have no lining... that is why good old fashioned foundational shape wear is still relevant.

I don't know what you all are seeing, but this dress does not fit properly or flatter any body, it's baggy, droops at the bust, cinches messily at the waist, shows an unflattering view of the knees and looks awkward to wear or sit. Otherwise, it's fine.

  • Evelyn Wald
    Evelyn Wald Month ago +28

Wish they would compare short women (of all sizes) and tall women (of all sizes). I'm short and wear a 0-2 petite and this dress looks like it would hang on me with too much fabric around the the waist because of where the belt would fall. Also, the v-neck area would probably have to be adjusted on a short person so that they wouldn't have too much clevage.

I can't stop thinking about how uncomfortable it must be when your legs are so thick that they touch even down to the knees because to me it's already annoying when they touch at all like all the way up at the thighs when wearing a dress

The dress should be level at the bottom- it draws attention to the knees, and if yours aren't perfect, it highlights something completely unnecessary. There are women there with fabulous racks, but instead, all I'm looking at is their knees. And that's not a criticism of *them* it's a criticism of the dress. And the people who are trying to kid both us & them that it's perfect when it's not, just so they can sell it.

Now women size 0-28 get full body health exams... it’s nice they found hideous mustard yellow but Nicky fit wrap dresses to fit these ladies but glamorizing obesity isn’t being positive it’s condoning self harm.

    • Code Name
      Code Name Month ago

Nekole Whyte Because the above poster obviously ties all of their self worth to appearance. Yes, the obese women in this video should be encouraged in a positive way to take their health more seriously and accept that they can be beautiful at any size but beautiful is worth little if you aren’t healthy. The exact same can be true for severely underweight women and it’s pretty sad that heavier women get a lot more verbal flack for their size than underweight women because it’s harder for them to hide their health issue. Anyone can look nice in their clothes if the clothes fit well, but nobody who is 100 lbs overweight is healthy. They are beautiful and should be encouraged to love themselves so much they take care of their entire well-being not just pretty clothes.

This is a video about women trying on dresses. Their health is neither the point of the video nor any of your business.

    • Corporate Coffee Futures
Corporate Coffee Futures 3 months ago +1

@Nekole Whyte He didn't answer you back so that means he doesn't know. Just wanted to show that he is a bigot which all anti-fat bigots use health as a weapon to beat fat people, especially fat women up with. Thing is, body positivity is getting more and more accepted and even healthcare is starting to change the way that they treat fat people, so fat activism is making progress even if it may not seem like it.
