The opening 20 minutes was great. The rest of the show was terrible. How can anyone say it was a good episode?

Well we've gotten some changes in WWE, let's see how long this will last. How long will the MacMahon's wait to ruin any progress made by Hyman & Bischoff.
Amazing that it took another Wrestling Company who hasn't yet come to television, already changed WWE's new approach to making good solid wrestling show.

It didnt feel like a Saturday morning cartoon for a change. I've always found it weird that this staged combat is geared towards kids.

Man, I can't stand Jay Washington. Used to love the dude then he tweeted (paraphrasing) "If you don't pay creators through patreon, you don't support them"

I don't think Cory should've said "holy shit".
To me, it still sounded scripted.
I would've been more into it if he said "oh shit!" the moment the pyro hit.
I think that makes a difference.

Kristian would have loved Lucha Underground back in the day.

Back in the day? It just ended a year ago and only existed for 4.

Nothing will change because Vince will get the last say and will probably undermine Paul/Eric's work

It was an improvement, but they still give us the same old shit. They also play themselves out with a quickness by continually beating us over the head with that Braun/Lashley segment. Also, that Kanelis story is horrendous and Becky/Seth doesn't have any on screen chemistry whatsoever.

So why were the Street Profits, current NXT Tag Team Champions, on Raw?

Shaq4real I don’t doubt that, I just want to know why they were there. To my knowledge they already have a ton of NXT call ups from this year they haven’t used properly. Plus I’m always weird about champions from NXT being called up to the main roster during their reign

They were the highlight of the show for me

It is scripted. I have seen it over and over again. Nothing was original about Raw.

i think the problem is all the best ideas have been thought up and used already. Corrupt promoters, invasion angles, in ring weddings. This will be a problem for AEW as well.

You guys are overreacting to the schmoedown. Anyone should be able to do what they want, not that serious

I like that the show seems edgy & unpredictable, what kinda bugs me is that everybody is all of a sudden saying "bad words" in their promos now, which seems a little manufactured

Wwe is still trash and probably will be until Vince gives up some control

WWE needs to go TV-14, have Paul & Eric be *fully* creative, build up good storylines and characters, and have some sexuality in the mix with the women. Not saying be overly edgy like the Attitude Era, but be like the Ruthless Aggression Era.

Eric Bischoff is not the right person to head creative.

standards for wwe are so low right now that a spear through a screen and a swear word is "heyman saving raw"

    • Joseph Boza

I knew Vince wrote that script. You are right. Standards are so damn low right now. I had a feeling a new stage was being created. I think Paul being named director got ratings to jump from 2.25 to 2.5 million viewers.
