Sports are boring, and anyone who likes them deserves to be raped to death in front of their crying mother. The most boring storyline in gaming beats the most interesting sports clips by one thousand percent. If you like sports, stab yourself and pour gasoline in your open wounds; if you like gaming storylines, just stab yourself.

You can read an entire computer full of logs and half the time learn something in the same time it takes to read a volume of the lusty argononian maid.

Come on how can you not read the books in Skyrim. Skyrim and minecraft the most addictive games. I remember the first time I played minecraft. That was the first night I panicked when I heard a noise and couldn't find my torch. Nothing like trying to mine yourself out of bed . Those zombies are so cute especially when they are trying to kill me

    Act IV, Scene III, continued
Certainly not, kind sir! I am here but to clean your chambers.
    Crantius Colto
Is that all you have come here for, little one? My chambers?
I have no idea what it is you imply, master. I am but a poor Argonian maid.
    Crantius Colto
So you are, my dumpling. And a good one at that. Such strong legs and shapely tail.
    You embarrass me, sir!
    Crantius Colto
Fear not. You are safe here with me.
I must finish my cleaning, sir. The mistress will have my head if I do not!
    Crantius Colto
Cleaning, eh? I have something for you. Here, polish my spear.
But it is huge! It could take me all night!
    Crantius Colto
Plenty of time, my sweet. Plenty of time.
    Act VII, Scene II, Continued
My goodness, that's quite a loaf! But how ever shall it fit my oven?
    Crantius Colto
This loaf isn't ready for baking, my sweet. It has yet to rise.
If only we could hurry that along. How would I accomplish such a task?
    Crantius Colto
Oh, my foolish little Argonian maid, you must use your hands.
You wish me to knead the loaf? Here?
    Crantius Colto
    Of course.
But what if the mistress catches me? Your loaf was meant to satisfy her appetite.
    Crantius Colto
Don't fret, my delicate flower. I'll satisfy the mistress's cravings later.
Very well, but I'm afraid my oven isn't hot enough. It could take hours!
    Crantius Colto
Plenty of time, my sweet. Plenty of time.

  • The Rattle in the Book

I actually like the short story "hunters apprentice" basically a highway man becomes a slave and is forced to teach a boy archery, it is revealed that the training method is to not actually shoot at targets and the slave owner decides to punish the slave for not teaching anything useful, while being beaten the highway men instructs the boy (who is a mile away) how high he should aim, eventually the boy aims right on, hitting the slave owner in the head, the final word in the book is said by the criminal... "bullseye" this book gives you one point in archery

The problem with Destiny wasn't that they just put some extra and more extensive lore into the Grimoire cards for the hardcore fans, it was that the game had basically zero story on its own. Skyrim actually has a story and the books are just there to enrich the universe. Destiny said "Story? Umm... shoot stuff. If you wanna know why you're shooting stuff, you can go online and read these cards that explain things more better."

oh, come off it, some of those books are awesome. myths of sheogorath, lusty argonian maid. it shows lore you could never experience via a quest. it makes it so not every event in the world hinges upon your one character, which makes sense. plus it is much easier to make than quests, therefore making these doesnt take away time from them making quests. if they instead turned those into quests then that would require them to sacrifice other quests.
only downside of having it ingame is if you only have one tv and multiple people wanting to use it. but you can always look it up on the wiki which has complete transcripts of all the books.
