Caesars Bacchanal - Most Popular Vegas Buffet

  • Looking for the most popular high end buffet in Vegas? Hands down, it's gotta be the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace. An amazing buffet offering an over the top experience that one seeks out in Vegas.
I had a chance to visit their weekend seafood dinner and this is my go-to place to experience the best Vegas style buffet...and it sure delivers. It's not cheap though at $60USD. On this visit, I opted for the 24 hour buffet of buffet passes -- giving you unlimited access of all the buffets offered by the Caesars Entertainment Group (although the Bacchanal buffet requires an additional up-charge for $35USD). Along with the amazing seafood buffet, the servers and staff are super friendly and fantastic to interact with.
Noteworthy dishes include their amazing seafood offerings, their american wagyu roast, and of course, the delectable desserts. All dishes where well made; fried items were crisp and hot, seafood was fresh and plentiful, and dishes from from different cultures were quite authentic.
    Happy Dining!

Smoked Brisket has just recently become the shit in The U.S. . But we were doing brisket in the 60s when it wasn't cool. And you got it for less than a buck a pound. now its near unaffordable to us.

Extraordinary Sunday buffet, until it's not. Caesars will close it to the public unexpectedly for a private event for their VIP gamblers club. I'm not stupid enough to be a VIP gambler, so my family and I were disappointed when we could not get in.

Last year I went to the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace, but I did
not enjoy it. Maybe I was there to early around 9 am to the buffet and
the selections were so limited in the early morning. After watching Tim's video, I will give it a try again.

Hi sniperjay, sorry for the late reply. I wasn't a big fan of the Wicked Spoon (though I might have gone on an off day). Hands down, I would say Caesars is the one to visit out of all buffets. Very grand and huge selection (great quality too). Hope you have a chance to try soon! (you might also want to consider the Sterling Brunch on Sundays at Bally's). Expensive but it's amazing and memorable.

Hey Tim. How much did the buffet cost?

    • Tim Lee
      Tim Lee  8 months ago

Hey Stephanie, this was a pricier buffet, but I got one of those 24hour buffet passes that included this place (with an up charge). Regularly, I believe it's in the $60 range, however, I've been seeing groupon deals around which you might want to check out. All the best :-)

I just returned from Vegas 5/2/19 and had been there 10 nights, wow what a poor servie vloggers did with the reviews of the buffets, including this one, for $129 for 2 it was a poor excuse, especially for the money, please Tim don't give these buffets a pass on their poor food and selection for these high prices. Go to restaurants who cook for you individually and order what you want, you won't spend anymore money but will get to eat what you like and pay less. All buffets were disappointing trust me!!!

    • Tim Lee
      Tim Lee  8 months ago

Hey Jim, thanks for your comment. Agreed, I should have made it clearer ... all the buffets on the strip has a significant premium; once off the strip, it's much better. I do hope you had some good meals during your trip!

Shrimp are not Prawns. Prawns are Prawns they are caught in the northern waters of Norway. They have pincers like lobster but are smaller due to international seasons.

    • Jamie Ford
      Jamie Ford 9 months ago

I have no idea what you eat but shrimp s not a prawn @Tim Leeut a little history of the prawn was that the government decided they needed a piece of the action , so to speak, and they started selling licences to foreign interest. In spite of the opposition of the local fishermen.

Hi Tim, I'm heading to Vegas this July ( girl's trip). I'm just wondering if you can tell me what restaurant in Vegas has the best ALL YOU CAN EAT SEAFOOD?

    • Tim Lee
      Tim Lee  Year ago +10

For sure, funny thing is our friend was just asking that same question. The Caesar's bacchanal is certainly one of the better ones on the strip and you can't go wrong here. A little further down the strip is the Bellagio which is also very nice but certainly second to Caesars. They have stuff like caviar and king crab which the Caesars don't have, but it is somewhat smaller.
If you want to go really far south of the strip , the m resort with their studio b buffet is very very nice. I hope that helps. Most of the other higher-end buffets have the similar types of seafood. Can't really go wrong either way. I hope that helps :-) have lots and lots of fun on your girl's trip. :-)

I just ate there 3 days ago on 1/14/19 for lunch. I found the Asian food to be excellent. The Poke was soooo good. Stayed away from the crabs bc it’s so much work. :)

    • Tim Lee
      Tim Lee  Year ago

Interestingly, the first time I went, I missed the entire Asian section as I didn't know it was there... I saw a review from "all you can Vegas" afterwards and realized I've missed it...

  • brewster102
    brewster102 Year ago +1

Tried this for the first time 2 days ago. I had the impression going in that it was not only the biggest, but the best quality of the Vegas
buffets. It did not live up to that expectation. I found a lot of the food lacking in seasoning. The prime rib was bland and on the
tough side--that is the main thing I hope to be good on a buffet. A lot of things that were supposed to be hot in temp were only
luke warm. Chicken curry was okay. Asparagus very woody. Sliced bbq pork was flavorless, and its not the same to try and
season it after it is cooked. Creme brulee was good. If you eat the oysters, especially late in the shift take care--it is the main complaint
on Google reviews--they should be chilled below 38 to hold up. I think the Paris buffet is much better tasting--not as many choices though.

      brewster102 Year ago +1

@Tim Lee I did the Buffet of Buffets, Flamingo, Harrah's, Paris. Saw your video on the M Resort buffet and definitely

    • Tim Lee
      Tim Lee  Year ago

Great honest feedback Brewster102! I did like the other areas though... desserts, tacos, chowders... Didn't notice the issue with the oysters but definitely should watch for temp. Did you get a chance to try the Sterling Brunch? You might find that one to be quite good 🙂

I’ve been to Bacchanal 2x for lunch and dinner. I don’t think this is the top. I’m disappointed to their asian (Japanese). The sushi just average (Oyshi/H2O Ishikaya are my top choice for sushi). If this is rated number ONE then sushi should be upgraded. The dessert area, I was so upset. I am a “matcha” fun. I asked the server to have a 3 scoops of green tea and he replied. I can only give you two scoops and when u liked it then come back! I don’t want to argue, maybe this is their policy. I posted my experienced on yelp but never get a reply. For me, I don’t have a top choice. Bacchanal, Wicked Spoon and at M resorts, I considered them all the same. They have all different varieties on each. No Top 1 for me. This is just my own opinion.

    • Tim Lee
      Tim Lee  Year ago +1

Thanks for your comment Young Towns. Yeah, that's not a very good experience with the dessert station. Thanks for the heads up about Oyshi/H2O... looks good from what I can see on their site... Yeah, the style of buffets are very similar in Vegas -- I was able to visit a buffet in Asia and they are very different and quite good -- hmmm... maybe it's time to go for a visit :-)

I think that maybe he is a UNION REP. Because he SEEMED to be MORE interested in showing the WORKERS than the FOOD. Mutliple times he bantered with the workers and NEVER showed the food, crab legs, etc. Nothing wrong with being polite and friendly. But, this is a FOOD VIDEO BLOG, and NOT a Worker interview. This guy mentions Mikey Chen, who does EXCELLENT videos. But, this guy here is the WORST of all the Food video Vlogs on Vegas food. Many/ALL of us want to see these videos so that we can make choices on WHICH videos and When and How to do that the BEST way. This guy is campaigning for UNION REP. Some sort of Liberal "Power to the Worker" type.
