    Please just say the name of persian dishes as they are and don't try to come up with an english name for them. Treat them as u would a french dish. The name of your video should have been Tahchin not saffron rice cake.

    I would not make this dish with out rosewater!! Also I put little bit of sugar in the fruit mixture bcus the barbecues are little sour but I guess bcus he put golden raisins, he didn’t use sugar. Many people put cooked chicken in the fruit mixture. Andy ur dish looks incredibly yummy!!!!!!!!

    The crust from this was probably one of the worst things I've eaten. Everything about it sounded like something I would love. The middle was really good, but damn that crust was unholy. I think I'll try this recipe without baking it, and with less oil.

    Wow! I’m a chef just turning 50. I am French trained but made my bones & coin in hand wrought peasant Italian. I have travelled and eaten all over the world. I take inspiration from all the nooks & crannies being careful to dine with silver service, chopsticks & my hands. I’m currently living in South East Asia taking my inspiration from durian, rain forest mushrooms and wild edible succulents that grow along the rivers edge. What has always amazed me about my love & passion on this earth; food & the culinary arts, traditions & it’s history is the never ending rainbow panoply of color & flavor of learning something new. I have been a chef for thirty years and today, this very morning after watching Andy cook this amazingly wonderful Iranian dish, I can honestly say that food seems as new to me and as inspiring as the day I walked into the “Great Hall” in Culinary School and sat down for my very first taste of Coquille St Jacques. Simply amazing, like unwrapping a gift on Christmas morning. This is what I love about food, food culture and the people who love food with me.

    I made this last night and it was delicious!!! Crunchy, creamy, tangy, salty. The texture contrast between the crunchy outside and the soft inside rice is delicious. The berries contrast deliciously with the rice. I didn't have barberries, so I used tart dried cherries. I even ate it again for breakfast! So good, Thanks Andy!
