Still a legend. He lives for music.. people hating him for continuing to play and create can go to hell, I think. Why try to stop somebody from doing what they love most?.. Especially when it's music.

I honestly cried while watching this because it brought back so many happy memories for me. I’m only 18 and I’m so glad my mom introduced me to 60s-80s music when I was young. My mom was a huge Beatles fan and a MJ as well, and just listening to Paul recall all his memories of growing up made me smile because it somehow reminded me of my mom. She passed away 2 years ago and I will forever miss her. Thank you God for giving such a wonderful mother ❀️

You broadcast this almost on my birthday but I was 'down in a hole where the rain gets in' and had no clue it had been shown because of how far 'I'm down'. I've listened to The Beatles and Paul going back decades to when I was 18 months and demanding the Beatles LP be played (recorded on 8mm film) and the music has always been 'coming up' 'in my life' ever since. Always thought I'd get to see him live but I know now that'll never happen without some sort of, ne'er to arrive, 'help!' When I 'was just 17' I had dreams of making a living in music and later was on the cusp with national expose but too much of being reminded 'Im a loser' by a few vicious people, and outrageous events, took my focus and stopped that dead. I've not moved ahead in 18 years due to what happened and continued to happen... I'm a 'backwards traveller', stuck in 'daytime nighttime suffering'. I look at various pictures of many a 'yesterday' with a smile on my face.... I honestly can't remember the last time I did that because now I see my face, I can't recall the time or place', I just forget anything that made me 'feel fine'. The only true 'good day sunshine' will hopefully be long before 'I'm 64' when I'm allowed to 'let die' because even though I continually tell myself 'I must do something about it', I cannot and never do. Too many attempts to reboot meet with unprovoked occupational or personal attacks or what to make have called "unbelievable" mishaps. I wrote and recorded an entire song whose lyrics were 'the note you never wrote' about a lover who became cruel but it ended up applying to 2 more close, trusted, people who harmed me worse than any stranger ever did or could have. I'll never hear his music live but I've watched my dvf copy of the Back In The US (which I've not seen in seven years along with what was left of my belongings) so many times, dreaming of being at that show and getting called up to sing and play- and EVERY time I watched it, there were bits where my arm hair world raise, my neck would sweat, my eyes would water. I actually haven't enjoyed many concerts since I last played my own gigs, the best being the last one, in Edinburgh (when it looked like, finally, the fates would relent and let me be). I could light up my band mates and an audience so easily... and being in the crowd .... I can't enjoy most shoes unless the performer is transcendent, knowing what I'd BEEN meant to do with this life. 'Drink to me'.... don't 'drink to my health, you know I' can't stand too much more. I really am looking forward to being with the 'flowers in the dirt'. Thanks for the music and the good vibes Paul, and to you James: If you ever get 'really down'? Watch this clip. What a life you've had so far. 16:32 made my heart jump for a moment and a smile nearly curl one corner of my mouth up. When the woman in the red shirt ran in, so happy, my eyes actually leaked... The girl who cried during Hey Jude made tears accompanied by an almost-smile flow down my face for the time since... I can't actually recall...Thanks for that. Thanks SO much. Sept. 21, 2018 11:25 AM, lying in bed, since waking up at 7 am, after 4 hours of nighttime respite..... As usual.

Paul may be getting up there, but he still draws the fans to him like bees to honey. He's got a new LP out? Must find it. :) I have no doubt that the man is going to sing till the very end and that many people will be at his funeral, not just family. I grew up listening to Beatles music, Wings music and even his solo music. Just a great man all around.

As a life-long fan of "the Beatles" this has to be one of the best things I've ever seen on TVclip!
Many thanks to James Corden for being so brilliant, and to Sir Paul...well what can you say? Such a Gentleman... and a real sport....
I was listening to Beatles songs on the radio when they were new back in '63/'64 (I was only 2 or 3 at the time!) and loving the sound of them without really 'understanding' what I was hearing, but their music is in my blood, I feel, and have felt such for all my life..... Beatles are truly 'In My Life'... seeing this show was just magical (I'm not going to do it.... ;-) )
Sir Paul doing that impromptu gig in the Liverpool pub was a wonderful thing.... the expressions on the customer's faces, and the tears was incredible - after all these years!
Many thanks to James, to Sir Paul, and to the brilliant production team behind this episode.... :-)
