I think in Pokémon Gen 9 there should be a new feature with a device that allows trainers to turn into any Pokemon they choose and battle alongside their own. This would make the game much more exciting and it would be a great way top top Dynamax.

I wish that Pokemon Breaks existed in the game like in the TCG, You could manually trigger it, it turns golden for the rest of the battle, get an HP boost, and once it has Break Evolved, it can use a new attack or ability or use it's original attacks prior to Break Evolving.

I’m just going to give my opinion of the new games having played them with other people and being a Pokémon fan since the OG Pokémon games.
I had high hopes for the new games with all our currently technology and the switch gaming system. I kept thinking of what was promised, a game geared towards old fans but new will also like. Overall I am Not happy with the new games. Here’s my reasons:
    - Removing the National Dex.
Dude, I want my old Pokémon in my new games ever since pokebank made that possible. I don’t care if I have the advantage over those that don’t, I spent a lot of time and money to keep them and if I must pay $300 for a switch plus $60 for your game PLUS you want me to buy Pokémon home it had better include every Pokémon or the promise of that capability in the near future or you waste my money and time. I don’t want to start new rather blend old WITH new.
    - Removing over 150 Pokémon moves? Um really? First game to cut moves which is like half the point of the game. At least up until Us/Um you could get old moves by transfer or breeding so they technically weren’t cut just hard to get. But this is madness!
    - The pokemon for the most part seem unoriginal or duplicated. This gen seems meh, very forgettable Pokémon. With the exception of a few I don’t like this gen, too many overused Pokémon themes meaning living things that are already a Pokémon, and that galar Meowth turning into something other than Persian which doesn’t even look cat like seems terrible and just weird it might as well been a seperate pokemon species to begin with.
    - No dual type for our starters final evolution. Very disappointing and boring. I expected better, sobbles final could have been water/ghost, scorbunnys Fire/electric or fire/ground, and Grookys grass/fighting.
I’ve had kids play the game and veteran players, kids don’t seem to mind the game and I think it’s because they don’t know what they are missing out from past games. This seems exactly like a Let’s Go continuation rather than continuation of prior games. Pokémon forgot veteran players as they cut many things we know and love about the games.
From mega evolution to national dex to moves to no shiny starters to no wondertrade to a boring post game and we all expected better graphics and gameplay and this game seems childish like Let’s go games.
Pokken tournament, now that’s the look and feel I was hoping for new Pokémon games.
I could go on but these are what bother me most and what make me not want to buy the game. The only saving grace for future Pokémon would be allow the National dex and all moves, and either apply updates to S/Sh or the next new game fix these issues now that Nintendo has heard the outcry of fans.
I’m a huge Pokémon fan, and that’s why this bothers me so much, I feel like this new game has ruined too much where I no longer am interested in the game and that’s never happened before.
