When I was a kid Mr Rogers creeped me out. My mother and my brothers and sisters liked him, but to me there was just something about him. Because it seemed nobody else was creeped out by him, I thought it was just me. As an adult I have met several people who were creeped out by Mr Rogers as children, then one day a girlfriend of mine nailed it. She said that when she watched Mr Rogers she got the vibe that he was a pediphile.

Byron Benguche' Right there with you, he was one of a kind. The most important message behind all of his shows is just what you and I are feeling, it's ok to be human, and have these feelings. More people need to be open to expressing pure emotions openly, and honestly. It's really sad that people will think you crazy for saying something like 'I love you' without being in a serious relationship. I would risk my own life to try to save another, is that not love?

Lowkey I think Steven Universe is like Mr. Rogers in some ways it has been really good at addressing hard topics. Its not as appropriate for really children but I do think it shares a lot of important messages. I think we need more shows to talk about things for all ages tho
