I am so sorry for those 3-5 year old kids coming for their lunch meal, what a cruel world we are living in. And I am so happy about youngsters having the chance to learn a profession, cooking, instead of not having a future at all. Thanks, Gordon, for featuring those people.

Such beautiful children, Gordon should bring him back to the States (or wherever he lives) and give him a room to live in his house and a job working with him as his apprentice!! 😊💗🌷

Anyone notice how tall that Asian kid was? He's about Gordon's height which is 6'2 and he is/was a street kid. Not exactly getting all the milk and vitamins a growing body needs.

I'm from Asia myself, neighbouring Ho Chi Ming and we're short people.

After studying abroad, anyone who believes cooking is cultural appropriation and not the single handed greatest place for cultures to clash and blend are fools. Western Japanese Fusion was incredible to experience first hand, and I applaud chefs who take the time to learn a foreign cullinary art and introduce it to new audiences!

That school is so amazing. Teaching underprivileged kids how to cook is like the old saying about teaching a man to fish rather than buying him a fish. And on top of that, the food they make while learning is given to kids that live on the street. That woman is amazing for what she does!
