    It's time to start thinking about the big adventures for the year;
    where would you all like to see Susie and I go?
    Mountains, Islands, Deserts?
    Thank you guys and Gals for being so awesome

      Washington State. Olympic Penninsula has mountains and ocean. Also within a few hours drive are the Cascade Mountains, i.e. Baker, Glacier Peak, Stuart, Shuksan. The topographical relief is sooooo much greater than Colorado Mountains..

    Luke you are a inspiration to a lot of people. A lot of people get to live there adventures through your hard work and dedication of doing what you love to do. . Some people are just not able to get out or have to work or not physically capable to get out on the trail. I myself work alot. I drive a car hauler, I'm gone 12days or longer at a time. Every night after I park and get something to eat and a shower I look forward to jumping on here and watching videos. Thank you for what you do. Oh and yes I have been everywhere in the United States all 48 states and Just because I don't live far from you here in the mountains I'm not being bias but the mountains of Western North Carolina are by far the best.

    For Sams Club members (or friends of members) check out the Omni Wool base layers they stock. Very comfortable, and for me anyway, a great base layer down to around 20°. They're not 100% wool but I find them to be very good and warm, though the sizing tends to run a bit small, imo. You can find them on the SC website, search for omni wool.
    Also, Big Lots has wool socks in a seasonal display, 2 pair for $5. They have held up great for me; every year when they become available, I end up buying another 4-5 packages. I've been buying them for the past 3 or so years, and haven't worn out a pair yet. (Looked on their website, and couldn't find them, I assume because they tend to come out around Thanksgiving and aren't reordered.) Last time I was in a BL, they only had a few packages left.

      Yeah, high quality trauma supplies definitely aren't cheap anymore. I've found though that it's much cheaper to buy the components separately and put it together, than to buy one already complete.

      Zach S i liked the size of that trauma kit. Any chance you can tempt Luke into doing a full review of the kit?
      Kits are $$$ these days. It would be nice to put something together as you have done.

    Tights? Call them a base layer or long underwear. Tights are for hairdressers named Rudolfo. Can’t go wrong with merino wool though been upgrading my winter wear to it. They did great fixing you up with gear.

    UK military tradition is the 'racing spoon', when you cook and eat whats left is then offered to others on a ''one spoonful'' basis, the spoon must be able to enter a mess tin or large mug.That spoon would be a winner!
