  • We went behind the scenes with former MythBusters star Adam Savage for his new series Savage Builds. In the first episode Adam builds a titanium Iron Man suit modeled directly from Marvel Studios, with the hopes of actually flying it.
Savage Builds airs on the Discovery Channel before airing again on the Science Channel.

If we have a high energy source like arc reacter than we can do anything. First we need to invent a thing like arc reacter. Or a battery or a thing which can store high energy in a small volume.

So many people having stupid comments about this build. Why don't you idiots shut up and engineer something yourself then ?
You all have a big mouth but can not come up with anything like it, i would be surprised if you idiots even know how to tie your shoes.

Nice attempt but it looks more like a cosplay suit attached to a jetpack.
    Not an iron man suit.

Why not redistribute the four thrusters of the arms into two in the legs and two in the arms?

See the problem is Adam is a child and that suit was a complete waste of time., He did say .. like a kid "child" in a candy store. Why feed the hungry..? Or house the homeless. Nope, waste money on a suit made of titanium powder laser melted into layers to make his suit. P.s. I never heard Richard say you guys where friends. He just made about a million bucks from you lol. Maybe more to wear that circus suit. Ahaha He couldn't go an just do it.. had to think of s way to mess it up. Congratulations Adam.

    What Adam did in this.
    1. Jets from his friend,
    2. 3D printed from another company,
    3. Design provided by marvel.
    4. And there's no exoskeleton installed. 😓

Printing Titanium -Jesus- its melting point is only at round-about 1666 Grad Celsius and itis reacting with chlor and oxigen atcertain temperatures, forming and cooling process for the harnish must be very complex and the injetinon-pipes have to be heaten up in general/ all over there is no way of cleaning stiff titanium instead of using high density sulfuric acids. Perhaps the printer uses CO2 or nobel gasses over-pressure chamber to prevent inappropriate reaction, flaming and reducing of the melting-point pretty cool.
Okay the process with powder is simpler than I though
