I wish they would film 1 of the performances of an original Broadway show and sell that so that we poor folk could enjoy it.

James Corden is brilliant; he sings, he dances (that split!); his performance is pure pleasure! I'd love to know who wrote the lyrics to this stunning opening number.

🗿 Honestly, it's encouraging to see people who are SO OVERJOYED that they moved to the United States. That must be an AWESOME state of mind. 👏🙄 If only that sensation came in liquor or pill form....

I'm sorry, I know he divides opinion but his talent is off the scale. From 'Gavin & Stacey" via his Sport/Comic Relief genius sketches to his show in the U.S. and now this. Oh, and a shit load of hard work to boot.

We should pay people to go to the theater, music concerts and sports events. I'm not kidding. Robots do our shit now. Theater tickets are expensive. Extremely good theater needs fairly bad local theater to make the best better, but most people don't have jobs or money to attend cultural events. What's the point of having great live entertainment if only a few privileged bastards can afford to experience them? It's the same thing that happened with Henry Ford about 100 years ago. I live in a medium-sized city that has at least 4 or 5 professional plays on 3 or 4 proper theaters going on every weekend. The price is 6 times as much as the movieplex, and I've been to neither in the past 5 years or so. I've loved cinema and arts since I was born, so is not like I don't want to go. The price is just prohibitive for regular people, even though I think the artists deserve every cent. Now if I want to buy a car, get married or have children, there's plenty of subsidy for that. For experiencing art and broadening my horizons, there's no incentive at all. This has to change, otherwise we're already on Brave New World days. And as a 'gray', I tell you we're not fucking happy. Thank Jah for TV, streaming and piratebay though. At least this non-live crap I can afford.

James, Thank you for that awesome performance and especially for including a dancer that uses a wheelchair. My son was in a wheelchair since being born with a birth defect. We were told at his birth to treat him as if he had no physical disability. When people with disabilities are included in things this makes it so much easier. Because of people like you this was possible. Thank you

    He is Broadway's greatest ambassador!
People need to see his talent and encouragement of theater inspiring so many. If hed loseweight he'd be on every magazine cover and tv show but, image is everything in this business and he is overlooked and under-rated.
His smile lights up a room.

Lately I’ve been very busy blogging about every subject
under the sun, I know to one who is not one, blogging can seem like taking only
a few minutes to post, in reality that is all it takes, not the weeks of prep,
research and thought that govern the most successful postings. So, its little
wonder I fell a little behind my DVR viewing from which I glean most of my posted
subjects. Finally, I got caught up to the CBS News Sunday Morning program to the
day of the Tony awards, that featured most subjects that was flavored with most
aspects of “show business”, like, acting, singing, wigging. make-up, dancing,
music and lyrics, directing, lighting, costuming, staging, writing, book
    adaptation, and most importantly, “journalism”…
