You say the "Rotapik" made short work of the lock, when in fact it was _you_ who made short work of the lock. There's an old saying LPL...
"You can have all the tools but you've got to have the know-how."
    That's it right there Boom!💥💨😲💨😀

I wish this pick wasn't so freaking expensive. I'd spend $50 on it but not $300.

It was interesting seeing your lockpicking with the tool since it very clearly shows your movements (both the depth of your pick, and how you rotate it)

I really want to see a collaboration between
LockPickingLawyer and Steve1989MREInfo. The tone of the voice, way of presentation, signature phrases really hit the same vibe for me.
"Alright, let's get this out onto a pinning tray. Darn nice!"

I am the head locksmith at Columbia University all we use is Mul-T-Lock interactive. This pick is made useless it would seem by the addition of side pins and/or back pins to the plug. I have every intention on getting this pick to try it out. In an institution picks are basically obsolete and everything is masterkeyed with no reason to pick for lockouts.

Hey this question doesn't have to do with this video. I have recently had your channel show up on my feed and your knowledge has inspired me to get a basic kit and some practice locks. So i picked up three sparrows practice locks, a standard pin, spool pin, and serrated pins practice locks. Ok so the question i have is when im picking the spool practice im not getting any counterotation from the pins, it to the point where i have takin all the tension off core and still nothing. Why do you think this is happening.

When you want a hard Pick, try locks used in European special Germany like the ikon cliq System. Also the default Locks here in Germany are Hard as hell and the Keyway is also small and hard shaped.

    • Daniel B.
      Daniel B. 2 months ago

Like this system we use it in our Labs for Saftyreasons secure.ikon.de/index.php?key=produktkatalog&lang=en&ID=165008&c=ikon&treeID=164892

There’s levels to this. There’s a guy on another lock picking channel that literally complained for 7 mins that this tool didn’t work on this lock. LPL did it in literally one min AND described pro n cons of the tool. There’s levels to this fellas be humble

  • Erwinneke uut Bels
Erwinneke uut Bels 2 months ago

    Question for the LPL,
is it safe to leave the key (rotated) in the lock on the inside of the frontdoor? (lock is a Litto/ASSA ABLOY, Euro profile cylinder type).
this way it's not possible to insert a key from the outside (lock bumping).
But would it also help against picking or raking?
(key is on a keychain and therefore not possible to push out and slide back on a paper sheet under the door).
