We had amazing day in Padang, eating super delicious street food, seafood feasts, and of course, Nasi Padang. I would love to hear from you in the comments below after you’ve watched the vid. It’s nice to hear your thoughts on the video and what you liked or didn’t like. Was this one too short or too long? Sometimes I’m not sure whether I should add every single flavour description, especially when there’s 20+ dishes on the table, so I try to summarize the huge selection of flavours. Let me know what you think. And thanks so much for watching! We are in China now, planning out our next trip, probably going back to India! I can’t wait to share with you more and more street food videos!

Something about rendang you get in Padang vs anywhere else (including Jakarta). It's cooked much longer. That's why it's so dark. Makes it "Powerful, spicy, rich, and thick" like Trevor said. Source: my dad was born and raised in Padang.
