These artists that died in airplane crashes were mostly flown by uncertified pilots, piloting errors and/or that the planes themselves weren't even stabled enough or in any good condition (which could result in engine failure or other technical problems while in flight) to be used in the first place. Even if the planes weren't liabilities, then the pilots themselves should be certified (with the right training) before using them (For both day and night and that extra precautions are used when operated in any weather conditions as well as using proper mechanical techniques should any technical problems were to occur while in flight ). Most of those plane crashes had only 1 pilot flying the plane and that pilot also dies in the crash as well.
In Aaliyah's case, it was said that the crash was the result of overloaded weight, but there was also attention brought on pilot Luis Morales III (who was also killed in the crash and had drugs and alcohol in his system at the time of his death). He was on 3 years probation (after pleading no contest to drug possession, grand theft and attempting to sell $345 of stolen air craft parts). In any event, Morales was the pilot for the flight the Aaliyah entourage that had chartered from Marsh Harbour to Opa-Locka Airport in Florida. That in itself violated FAA rules because the FAA requires a list of certified pilots to be used for each charter aircraft, and Morales was not on the list provided by Blackhawk International Airways (founded in 1991) which operated the flight. However Blackhawk itself had been breaking rules long before the crash.
Lets not forget "The Day The Music Died" February 3, 1959 the plane crash that killed Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and Big Bopper JP. Richardson. As soon as the plane left the ground it vanished (into complete darkness in which there was no visible horizon) only to be discovered the next day that it crashed into a fence (5 miles northwest of the airport and buried under four inches of snow) and all 3 singers were thrown out the plane while their pilot Roger Peterson (an uncertified pilot) was pinned to death by the wreckage. At the time of the crash, the US weather bureau did issue a flash advisory warning of bad weather but Peterson never got the call. The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) accident report[1] found that the aircraft impacted the ground at high speed in a steep right bank, nose down attitude, and cartwheeled across the field, coming to rest against a fence. It was a basically a result of piloting error and bad weather
Ronnie Van Zant's (lead singer of Lynard Skynard) crashing death had 2 pilots. On October 20, 1977, the band boarded a chartered Convair CV-240 bound for Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where they were scheduled to appear at LSU the following night. After running out of fuel the pilots attempted an emergency landing before crashing in a heavily forested area five miles northeast of Gillsburg, Mississippi.[24][25] Ronnie Van Zant and Steve Gaines, along with backup singer Cassie Gaines (Steve's older sister), assistant road manager Dean Kilpatrick, pilot Walter McCreary, and co-pilot William Gray were killed on impact and seriously injured 20 others. The crash was a result of low fuel
Ricky Nelson's plane crash, that occurred on New Years eve of 1985 was the result of engine failure and other mechanical problems. However that plane did have 2 pilots Brad Rank and Ken Ferguson that survived the crash although Rank sustained extensive burns. But as soon as they told story of the events leading up to the crash, they brought up accounts that differed from one another.
Rank was criticized by the NTSB for not following the inflight fire checklist and that the plane itself had a history of problems with the cabin heaters. Nelson including his bandmates and other passengers were killed in that crash
The helicopter crash that killed Stevie Ray Vaughn and 3 of Eric Clapton's entourage members (Clapton's agent, Bobby Brown; Clapton's bodyguard, Nigel Browne; and Clapton's assistant tour manager, Colin Smythe) on August 27, 1990. After an all-star encore jamming session of Sweet Home Chicago (featuring Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughn [along with his band Double Trouble] and brother Jimmie) jam session at Alpine Valley Music Theatre, a return flight was scheduled for later that night, but when the encore finished, Vaughan was eager to return to Chicago and made the decision to leave immediately. The designated helicopter originally had three seats available, but Vaughan ultimately took the last remaining seat. Only 3 of the 4 helicopters made it to their destinations but the helicopter (with Stevie Ray) crashed into a nearby ski hill shortly after takeoff. Helicopter pilot, Jeff Brown also died in the crash. A two-year probe by the National Transportation Safety Board found that 'improper planning/decision' by the pilot was the main probable cause of the crash. Plus it was flying in dense fog.
But John Denver was the cause of his own crashing death on October 13, 1997. Post-accident investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) showed that the leading cause of the accident was Denver's inability to switch fuel tanks during flight. The quantity of fuel had been depleted during the plane's flight to Monterey and in several brief practice takeoffs and landings Denver performed at the airport immediately prior to the final flight. His newly purchased experimental Rutan had an unusual fuel tank selector valve handle configuration. The selector valve handle had been intended by the plane's designer to be located between the pilot's legs. The builder instead had placed it behind the pilot's left shoulder. The fuel gauge was also placed behind the pilot's seat and not visible to the person at the controls. An NTSB interview with the aircraft mechanic servicing Denver's plane revealed that he and Denver had discussed the inaccessibility of the cockpit fuel selector valve handle and its resistance to being turned.
Denver was in a previous plane accident in April 1989. He walked away uninjured after the 1931 biplane he was piloting spun around while taxiing at an airport in northern Arizona.
In 1993, Denver pleaded guilty to a drunken driving charge, and was placed on probation.[41] In August 1994, while still on probation, he was again charged with misdemeanor driving under the influence after crashing his Porsche into a tree in Aspen.[41] Though a jury trial in July 1997 resulted in a hung jury on the second DUI charge, prosecutors later decided to reopen the case, which was closed only after Denver's accidental death in October 1997.
In 1995, a flight instructor sued Denver for a runway run-in at Jackson Hole Airport in Wyoming. The instructor alleged the singer was piloting his Christen Eagle in 1994 when the airplane taxied into the flight instructor's Cessna.
In 1996, the FAA decided that Denver could no longer fly a plane, due to medical disqualification for failure to abstain from alcohol, a condition that the FAA had imposed in October 1995 after his prior drunk-driving conviction.

It doesnt make sense. She have a fear of small planes, people have said that there was too many people and luggage for that small plane. why wouldn't she just wait a few hours to go into a bigger more regulated plane.
Her record company or who ever was providing the air fairs for her said they "offer her a bigger plane" but she doesnt want it. And "their excused was that she wanted to get back home faster" , am I too believe that she will risk a plane crash for a few hours of waiting?
I think those people are just trying to protect themself from any liability.
Think about it, She was expecting a larger plane, she made it known that she has a fear of small plane, but her people gave her a small one. Yet they said they offer to get a bigger one, but they ended up giving her a smaller plane. Why the hell didn't they just give her tickets to the large 747 commercial plane ?
And it turns out that the pilot was a cocaine smuggler?
her people are in the drug trafficking business and would risk her life to smuggler cocaine.
If I was her parents I would sue her "people" , those drug criminals. then again, am I surprised the music industry is also dealing with drugs? hell no.
I'm pretty sure if people dig alot deeper, we will find more conspiracy about this case.
I heard a few more conspiracy about her death, might be hard for some people to swallow. But its a possibility.
