Not sure I'd be down with the "guess what this food is" kinda tour. Especially if you don't eat certain things like pork.

Going to the Starbucks "cause it's good coffee" :DDd
Starbucks is one of the lowest quality, awful-taste coffee that you can buy from "big players" (Costa, Nero, McDonalds, etc).

Mead as mentioned on the video isn't russian at all. It was originally made by the vikings in Scandinavia. But they had mead in russia as well before when they were vikings as well or slavic tribes.

Christ. His teeth look like a row of urinals. Every time he smiles I want to piss in his mouth. BTW - I would have loved for one of our Ohio Class ballistic missile submarines to have launched their payload at Moscow & watch a nuclear assault unfold.

I've had the chance to see many delicious looking foods here thanks to the video . Thanks for the video b.t.w. . I enjoyed many different foods from different cultures growing up and into my adult life . My father was head chef (among other things) at the Mason Marconi Restaurant in Baltimore . Which is a very famous restaurant known for specializing in Seafood and European style dishes . On my father's days off and vacation time he would prepare special meals at home sometimes . Some of those meals were Russian . Very tasty I might add . Being of Polish decent he knew alot about preparing eastern European type dishes too . If he was alive today I would be more than glad to take a food tour with him to Russia because I would've gotten the best tour . He spoke 5 languages English , German , Italian , Polish , and Russian fluently . So it would've been a very good learning experience for me . Keep pumping out those delicious meals Russia ! Smiles * * * .

    Russian cities are great.

Moscow, Samara, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Veliky Novgorod, Kazan, Sochi. Sadly with the exception of Krasnoyarsk, many Siberian cities are extremely impoverished. The majority of people live in the big cities, so Putin focuses on them, little cities or towns like Omsk and Chelyabinsk. The bigger cities are also way more accepting of Homosexuals even though homophobia is still a big problem in Russia.

I work with people in St Petersburg and I can only get a tiny bit of the language despite working with them every day. Their english is so much better than my russian. And I'm only on the pronunciation part of learning russian, I havent even gotten to really being able to read it. Its very fulfilling though because they're so self conscious about writing russian in our public groups. They apologize every time they write it saying "sorry for speaking gibberish" and I'm like NO that's not gibberish, that's your LANGUAGE! I want to learn!
Though I do thank them in russian when I can, but my pronunciation of any of the words starting with like a ts sound or the tz sound... nope... its not easy to me.
