You cannot have bipartisanship between people with empathy and psychopaths.
Psychopaths would simply use it as an opportunity for advantage.

Cooperation and bipartisanship only work if both parties work in good faith which is clearly no longer the case. Studies show that the two American parties are increasingly separated by predictable differences in Moral Values. Companies such as Facebook and and Cambridge Analytica harnessed these core personality characteristics in their advertising algorithms to incredible accuracy. Calls for bipartisanship are increasingly seen as hollow appeals to a centrist fallacy since it becomes a bad faith and disingenuous action if there is one or more bad faith actors on one or more sides and one party has clearly become unhinged from being able to contribute honest conversation or respect American law.

Trump has made it clear that he is president for his base, not any other. He attacks people, not ideas. He even got Republicans to hate John McCain and agree among themselves he wasn't a hero, something that everyone had agreed on for over 40 years, until Trump.

People no longer respect McCain because he campaigned on overturning obamacare, but when the Senate was voting to do just that he doublecrossed his voters with his pathetic preening of thumbing down at the last minute. He also lost the respect of people for peddling the russian conspiracy HOAX. He wasn't a saint, just another swamp critter that the people of Arizona are lucky to be rid of.

We need a united America, unfortunately, pride has gotten in the way in both parties and I don’t think we will see a united America in the near future. The last time America was united was just after 9/11 before we went to Iraq (2001-2002) in that range, Bush had a 90% approval rating. Those days are long gone.

Partisan politics is the way it has always been. Very rarely do both sides of the aisle stand together.. and when they do, look the hell out, because that is when they are trying to either give themselves RAISES or they are trying to take something away from us in the form of another illegal tax.

It wasn't a bad word before Trump. More proof he's dividing America.

Liberals would rather see the country fail than do well under Trump’s leadership.

Yeah, accusing a newly elected president of being installed by the russians will definitely divide a country.

Democrats are incapable of attacking ideas instead of people, they called Bush a racist just like they do everyone else. That's all they got, and russian unicorns.

+J B It's their idea of branding everyone racist that I'm pointing out, and the way they undermined the current administration with the absurd russian conspiracy HOAX.
