Here is why this is my new favorite cooking channel - The RECIPES! And, of course, Natasha. I love cooking shows but rarely are the recipes that great when I try them. America's Test Kitchen has been the most reliable... until now. We first tried the Beef Stroganoff - Amazing! Then the apple pie - Delicious (even with no brown sugar)! Almost every recipe was a hit (I like my chicken alfredo better but I still learned things from her video that made mine better and easier). Bravo and thank you so much for the resources on the website. They REALLY help!!! You are a gift.

Hey Brother Fullmer, this recipe looks great and I am trying it out tonight. In my opinion the best cooking show ever is Alton Brown's Good Eats from some 20 years ago. I have my DVR set to record his shows whenever they come on TV. I now have 230+ episodes. Many are on You Tube. He teaches about the food and the tools you need. He goes step by step with easy to follow instructions, unlike written recipes which leave you to your own skills. Each show is dedicated to a certain food, and he usually details 3 or 4 recipes. I must admit, this show has taught me everything I know about cooking, from how to properly boil an egg, to elaborate dishes like a crown rack of lamb. He spends a good deal of time with his parody and comedy while teaching the history of each food, but once he gets to cooking, he is very easy to follow and every dish I have made from his shows comes out great. If you love to cook, check out Good Eats.

@@Nada Hashem for this recipe, a white grape juice, chix stock/base, not broth, or veggie stock, i do not know where you live, but in the U.S. they sell NO alcohol white/red wine & you can drink it, do not use cooking wine, it is awful, even the best is awful. I do not know why but you will only find the NO alcohol at a wine/ liquor store. For this recipe i would use the white.

@Nada Hashem If you are not able to find Marsala wine, a Madeira wine would also work. If alcohol is a concern, most of the alcohol is cooked out in the pan so you just get the added flavor and the sauce ends up with an insignificant amount of alcohol. If you are looking to make it wine-free, you could just use more broth and boil that down, but the flavor profile wouldn’t be quite the same.

Im having a hard time finding marsala wine. Is it in wine dept or cooking wine in groc store. I found one marsala cooking wine in grocery but it does not say dry. You stated it should be dry marsala. Not sure what to buy?

Use dry marsala wine, NOT sweet marsala. Sweet Marsala is meant to be used for dessert recipes and won’t work well. If your grocery store doesn’t sell liquors, you can find marsala at your local liquor store. If you are not able to find Marsala wine, a Madeira wine would also work.

Do we have to add chicken broth? If we dont have that, can we add something else instead? Like for example those chicken flavored maggi cubes? (Would these work for any recipe thats has chicken broth as an ingredient?). Also I have a question, is heavy cream the same as heavy whipped cream or are they different? I love ur recipes, I had tried some before and they are easy, delicious, and with simple ingredients. I like how easy your recipes are and how quick.
