Love the video, truly one of the old time classics uploaded to youtube back in the day!
Are those 777-300
Nice RR Trent 800
This is a strong engineThe ge90-115b is the strongest engine of all in the world
that Singapore airlines 9V-SWK not in fleet. bcuz its old. so now i know all old b777-200 planes are all gone from SIA
This sound never gets old.
This vid is porn for aircraft enthusiasts.
Awesome compilation ❤️❤️❤️
Nice video. Coffee then jet fuel. Subscribed
Rolls Royce over GE any day of the week.
The ATC is icing on the cake. Superb.
Abbsolutely fantastic. ....I love this video and keep watching it again and again. My All time favourite. I have Liked and Subscribed.
The sound...the thunderous SOUND!! Gotta love the mighty 777
777s are largeGreat Video
777 engine sounds are just AMAZING
Dunno how many times i have watched this.......the sounds when aircraft spooling up is incredible....
Nice Engine sounds
looks like the Singapore airways Boeing 777 engines look like they are disappearing in the smoke
2:00 BA 767?
I'm trying to find that video with a PÍA Boeing 777, AirBerlin old livery a320 and a Fly VLM Fokker 50 taking off at wet, late afternoon Manchester Airport, but I can't find it.
I've seen this video at least 25 times by now. I come from time to time only to hear the ATC's musical voice...
The Triple Seven is very Famous and Known
Nice video 10 Years old now
Just love those boeing 777's
It was 24L in 2006? They changed the rwy heading somehow?
Who else lives near an airport?
Nice planes the 777s
Love this video. Thanks for sharing.
The RR engines just dont seem to fit on the 777, the large GE90 look great!
The Rolls Royce engines are more reliable
true GENX engines are so advanced it beats RR hands down
+Sepehr Salimi I sort of like the sound of the spool up of the Rolls Royce but I still prefer the GE's hands Down
The DNA molecule lied to me, I destroyed it's shadow with an anti-matter plasma energy octagon..
now 2016 who watching
It's wired entering the runway like that. Normally the planes at any Airport in the world, taxi on the turnaround of the runway before take off. But at Manchester airport, it does a bit of both turnaround the taxi line and cutting into the runway before takeoff. I don't know why that is happening.
Nice quality for 2006
So the smaller 777 engine is RR while the larger is GE or is that backwards.
benzeeable1 777 uses GE90, RR Trent 800 and PW4000 engines. :-)
They are both equally sized 777-200ERs, the PIA one with G90-94Bs and the Singapore with Trent 892s. These G90s are not the 110/115B people here so love to droll over, and in fact are a bit worse option than the Trents. It took an exclusivity contract, quite a bit of money and a lot of re-engineering to really push them to the next level.
benzeeable1 ni they use rr engine too...
WackyBroProductions No. 777's use only GE engines.
maybe it's just me, but the controller had a sexy voice
It's nit just you : it's her!!! LOL
BEAUTIFULL video..I love it.
Thx for posting these Chris....the sound is unbelievable......great having ATC instructions in background.....:-)
А что будет тем кто сбил Боинг 777?
The second plane was loud
Martin Ladekær yeah probably, I don't know
Will Menzies I know my engines... And the second plane was NOT a 737-400 but 767-300.
No, a 737-400 has CFM 56 engines
+Will Menzies A Boeing 737-400 with RR RB211? LOL
It was actually a British Airways 737-400 which sadly have retired now
*Boeing has chosen GE exclusively to power their new 777x.*
*Those GE90 engines hold the Record for maximum thrust at 127,900 pounds of thrust under test. Those GE90 engines also hold the Record for the longest Commercial Airliner flight at 13,422 miles.*
I love Boeings and Airbus is the second best.
Is this your own vid???
I love the smell of jet fuel in the morning....Smells like.....Boeing.
Smells like GE Aviation. They're the ones who make these engines right in Ohio. Proud to live here :)
SC PSO smells like Airbus
Amen to that
That PIA GE-90s definitely looked like they didnt need that much to throw that bird off in the air
proud to be a Pakistani
that's one awesome looking aircraft
The favorite take-off video of all time - with a double trip-seven punch. PIA one, 25 seconds from full-power to rotation - sickening acceleration.
Deppenapostroph lässt grüßen.
@indahooddererste Es ist Deutschland hier.
@indahooddererste singular Takeoff - plural Takeoffs, Du Armleuchter.
@Dome31337 das apostroph is richtig du depp englisches wort
Thanks, those were great vids!
United B777-200ER Take Off Frankfurt
3:22 I love the extreme engine sound on Singapor Airlines!
Is this early morn MAN?I've been on the Ael Lingus ATR behind the Singapore many times.
Incredible wing span...
The 777 is the only aircraft with such a dramatic and beautiful take off rotation attitude. As it lifts off, the stern drops and the airliner kites up', as if on a virtual tailwind, like a U-2 and just launches into a 70 degree angle as it reaches higher in one go. Even the pretty 787 takeoff is a non-event in comparison. I rode in an 777 and it without fail did just that. It was like Chuck Yeager in a vertical ascent -sitting in economy, in my seat felt like 5 g's pressing me into the headrest :D.
This is where I really wish smell a vision was a realty. Imagine watching this while smelling burning Jet A.. There is nothing better than the smell of jet fuel!
So the first one is a 200LR with GE90s and the second is a 300 with RR Trent 800 series engines? I'm new to this. btw I think the GE90 sounds better.
And the PIA is a Boeing 777-240ER with GE90-94B
+karlito30 the Singapore is Boeing 777-212ER with Rolls Royce Trent 892.
The singapore is a 200(ER) with RR trent 895
@cyberpolice the first T7 was a 200 not the LR
Alright, jeez. I admit my mistake.
Hello, I filmed the startup procerde from the GE 90 jet engine.GreetingsRoland
That first PIA plane looks like a 777-200LR with the 115B's.
Thats a 777-200ER actually, not LR
What is the purpose of the tube below each of the Singapore Air Rolls Royce engines? It appears exhaust gases are coming out.
This remains my favourite 777 video till date. Extreme and raw sound of the great engine.
right i like the engine sound. just so deep...................
If just about sound , I loves Rolls Royce Trent over General Electric GE90-115B. Although the fact GE90 have a lot of thrust than RR Trents , for aviation fans know that, RR engine is more like riding a sports car that makes you worth the ticket price. That roaring beast sound is what the best part , the air-sucking power is strong. Never any engine can do such rev-up sound except Rolls Royce. Just my 2 cent.
good day pakistan 794.!
where did u get the ATC?:)
1:14 The sound likes the IAE V2500 (Airbus A319/320/321)
One GE90 produces about 150`000 HP. Thats more than twice the power of the Titanic.
BlackFoxFalcon nearly 4
GE90s any day over RR
3:15 beautiful sound very very nice
BT7 Porn. Love it
@theroyalcamthey are, the pia 777 have ge90 engines and the singapore have RR895
pakistan international airlines
cool video ever !!!!
it looks like the engines on the singapore is smaller than on the first one
theroyalcam they are, the GE90 is the biggest engine in the world
Those are my favorite aircraft of SIA! Too bad they're to be decommissioned or something and be replaced by the shitcrap A350.
Longer than the A340-500?
Dude you are the man!!! Wish I could do that

She's such a big beautiful baby!
I wanted to be a pilot for a major airline until the airlines told me I had to go to a 4 year college just to come out of school heavy in debt only to enter a flight school to be even more in debt then get hired by them to start out making $35K and within 10 years if the airline survives make close to $80k..... however I started my own biz and make $300k and skipped the 4 year college and went straight to a private flying school to learn how to fly Gulfstream jets for fun
i loved this song send me some more please
That would be a British Airways B767-336/ER
Beautiful video with really amazing sound! Love it!!
The engine on the 777 sounds great I wish I were on her thats my choice of jets to travail on.
I like to see some of the turbo props in the for ground take off the sound of the prop is awesome !
My mistake, it is a standard 200ER series as it doesn't have any raked wingtips. But the -200LR does have with 2 engine options, either GE90-110B or -115B. Only the -300ER use the -115B variant exclusively.
Anyway what's the plane that was in the foreground of the SIA 777 at around 2:00?
Holy shit, that engine noise. It's brilliant!!
Get your facts straight. That's not an LR it's a standard 777-200ER. There are visual queues that easily give that away. And you may also want to check your engine facts, too. 777-300ERs and 777-200LRs only use GE90-115B engines.
