Sony also pay for the stand alone films, so that’s Marvel doesn’t get any money for those films. Marvel creates the story, and that’s it.

I know I’m a minority because many fellow fans for some sane reason wants Disney to own all of them because they want their precious all marvel in one movie which I say it’s bad because Disney has too much power! I still oppose the Fox merger, They force movie theatres to play their movies a certain amount of times and take 65% of their revenue which means the theatres make little to no money especially independently owned theatres. I loved the fact that fox and Sony were doing their own marvel universe because I like competitive companies to see who can pump out better superhero films! So actually I support Sony creating their own Marvel universe and if you disagree tell me your reason why I’m wrong and why it’s a good thing for Disney to have all this power!

Marvel should make a good cynical comedy Howard the Duck film, but make it canon in movie reality that the Howard the Duck movie from the real world 80s was a bad movie in-universe that got made when a drunk Howard signed the movie rights paperwork for cheap.

Marvel is something that has changed my life. Day by day I wonder about it. Back when I was bullied in school I would come home and rewatch captain America winter soldier or watch the new agents of shield episode. Stan lee, Jack kirby, and Steve ditko, I just named the three people who changed my life. They are the strongest, smartest, and most creative people, no not people super heroes that have ever graced all of existence. Forever in there favor, I will be.

The new Fantastic 4 movie was catering to the Social Justice Warriors. It was too PC I hated it. They could have done so much more if they just stayed away from the SJW crap. When will movie studeos learn that SJW crap is not popular. Look at the New Ghost Busters. Completely SJW and a FLOP. Stop giving in to the #METOO movement and just make good movies with traditional values not the #METOO PC Crap.

  • Alex Meyers

You are 100% incorrect about Fantastic Four and Constantin. Constantin owns the distribution rights to FF in Austria and Germany, presumably will be reverted if no movie is produced. 100% sure that 21CF owns the production rights and distribution rights to FF and that license was transferred in the early 2000s. The original license expired and Marvel granted an extension to Fox. Think logically about this as well. Disney has said they are acquiring the rights to FF. You think they are only acquiring distribution and not production? So Constantin can go to Paramount and produce a new FF with them? Stop spreading FUD.

The story of the MCU brings me to tears almost every time. The idea of a shared cinematic universe before the MCU was almost unheard of and Marvel had to have so many things go right with what little they had. Now Marvel is owned by Disney and they will soon have rights to the Fantastic 4, X-Men, and Deadpool. And they also share the rights for Spider-Man. The MCU's story is truly inspiring. It came from nothing and now it's known throughout the world.

I'm surprised no one seemed to bring up the totally not reverted rights to the Fan Four. Fox only owns distribution (unless Constantin did actually sell the rights). Of course, with Disney buying Fox and those distribution rights, they can just sandbag Constantin until the rights revert back anyways, which means that Marvel all but owns the film rights.

I think a cool way to introduce mutants to the MCU and make it all make sense is to say that the snap in infinity war released a massive amount of cosmic energy in the universe and that it awoke dormant mutants all over the world they could also say that the energy released caused the cosmic storm that gave the fantastic four their powers this way it would provide an in universe explanation for why mutants are just now appearing in the MCU

They featured in the I think 80's and felt with a mix of cosmic problems as well as drugs and other problems of growing up. They even hooked up with Franklin Richards for a while. It's a cute serious with some good stories, but all that ever surfaced was a bad TV pilot.

Hmmmm, not bad but your timelines are out of whack, and if you called this the complete guide maybe you should put all the characters in, not just those you like?
31:33 of filming this video actually is waaaaay too short to justify a complete guide, about 2 hours would be closer, and if your going to criticise anything how about starting with the studio meddlers who want their own spin on the effects and actors?
So far you've done ok but it needs a little more work, a lot more thought into who or how things go wrong especially from the cinema goers viewpoint, not just the true nerds who know all the real story lines, and yea I know i sound like one of the critics ha , but if you don't listen, you don't learn.
In closing you did ok, but maybe my comments are more about needing more depth to your video content, your presentation of this is all on point, great job with that :)

It's crazy to think that Fantastic Four and Batman Begins came out at the same time. Batman Begins was so ahead of its time in terms of superhero movie story telling that it just feels like it belongs in a different generation of superhero films.
