+The Food Ranger, what's the name of the restaurant you had the wanton noodle at? I'm more or less acquainted with Chinatown, but I couldn't recognize that joint. Would help if you tell me, so that I can go there the next time I'm in Chinatown.

I am from Kolkata, and I am overjoyed....that you went and visited and tried some of the food I grew up with - which I think are just awesome. Your videos gave me great joy Trevor. Awesome job. You bring great joy and exposure of variety to the food scene and go to places that the big names would not go to! Thank you. Namaskar! Aroni Banerjee (San Jose, CA)

Not sure of any one mentioned this. The lady selling the deep fried mochi with sesame is talking about donuts in canada which is also deep fried with sprinkles, and chinese dumplings are not wrapped with banana leave but a leave more abundance in china, bamboo. Larger rice dumplings are wrapped in lotus leaves. In tropical south asia, coconut and banana leaves are more commonly used.

2'18 The man said that the people there were all Hakka and Cantoness, which suprised me bc it's rare to metion “Hakka”, a unique chinese patriarchal clan. Hakka(客家) literally means being a vistor/guest to a strange place and then settling and living in this place. Hakka people is people in southeastern china who migrated from the north in the 12th century. I am a Hakka in Meizhou, china. Just happy to be mentioned.
