looking at gold in the pans is near lmpossible...its like looking inside a bottle cap while sitting on top of a phone pole. Taking a real closeup would really help, but it was interesting. Where was this place?

Mike Due to weight considerations and versatility and size I shoot with a gopro only and they do not do closeup well at all. Any closer than a foot away and its blurry, so it is what it is unfortunately, but I always take a high res closeup for the final cleanup at the end of each video at home.

What a joke!! Real gold is not a real bright yellow like most of that. Looks like there might be some small pieces of real gold in there, although most of it just looks like fools gold. If they would stop flashing the pan around and hold it still for at least a half a minute you would be able to see that most of what they have is fools gold. Apparently they do not want you to see it clearly enough to see the real truth about what is in the pan.

In my country you cannot claim anything of value you find coz it's the governments property..you find a treasure, it's not yours , you find a pot of gold coins buried under the earth, you are supposed to hand it to treasury department..figure that out!!

Never disturb the current in your sluice box unless you’re going to clean out that’s how you lose gold. Great hull though it was fun to watch you guys! Wish I was there with you LOL

    • California Mother Lode Prospectors
California Mother Lode Prospectors  5 months ago +2

Ive been doing what I do for years and pan tailings and not losing gold, sometimes you can build up a lot of black sand and lighter material and by running a finger down your agitating it causing the lighter material to migrate but the gold just moved depper down. The same action is created in a hydraulic riffle only the water is the finger. Thanks for the support!

    • California Mother Lode Prospectors
California Mother Lode Prospectors  5 months ago

Fakery? I never said a total of what I got, which was close to 6 grams for the day. I have a gold shack live video titled "adventures of the locals only crew" I made at the time which shows the cleanup, this video was made more than a half year after the trip. I never claimed any total, any amounts you heard me say were jokingly enthusiastic estimates of what we though we could get. I swear people hate so much I don't understand why, were just a bunch of guys that had a good day on the gold and everyone wants to rip it apart..

    • California Mother Lode Prospectors
California Mother Lode Prospectors  6 months ago

Good question David, I don't know for sure but I can tell you for sure that the gold we were collecting was placer gold moved down the river over millions of years. The cracks act like sluice box riffles in the river.

Hey fellow treasure hunter, Im lookin for some help in my own adventure in the Arizona hills.
Im in a valley saturated with old mines, most of the mines were most active in the early 1800's.
For 6 years Ive been reading and researching how to find gold. but i need some help in my search of a rich mine! Just recently had my hours cut back at work due to a slow season, so i have very little time on my hands befor the busy season kicks up to be able to search for that shiny yellow stuff. My dream is to someday own and operate a mining and exploration company that people from all around can come out and see how an active mine functions and how to look for that GOLD! Today Im seeking help in planting a major stone in the foundation of my adventure. Happy diggin!
